It's a cute little hotel placed in the middle of uphill mahala. On the first sight you might be terrified by the mahala, but then you realize it's all the part of it charm, actually. Bad side is also the staff that doesn't speak english or just a little bit ... very little bit🙄, but they are kind enough to show you by body language and by gestures 😁 where your room is and then you find yoirself in a very interesting spot😁. Our room was on the second flor. Ask if you can second or the third flor, because the first two are in the basement🤨. After you come in the room, you find yourself in the midle of Dolmbaşçe palace😂🤣. I even think their enterier designer was inspired by that palace?!? The room is a little too ornate, for my taste. Too many ornate details, plush upholstery, draperies, bed covers ...but some could like that ... room is very clean and specious, though. Bathroom is also clean. You have everything you need there: soups, shampoo, hairdrier (not very strong and powerful, so if you need some long hair drying....don't even start). The big NO NO ... is a mold!!! I've read before I went there that guests had problem with moldy rooms and I thought they over reacted. They did not!!! The whole window side, above them, is filled with mold, so we kept our windows open all the time, to prevent the mold oder...!?! The other issue,no one can control are the seagulls. Every morning they are fighting over some near dumpsters, so they get veeeery loud. All in all,it's a good and decent place to stay. No far from the main attractions (tops 10 mins. walking), and nearby restoraunts are excellent as well... so, yes, I will recommend this hotel to the people!
