Cons:
First room: had hair all over the bathtub and bathroom floor (see the attached photos). And a bedsheet with a hole in it.
At the reception they told me, that they will change the room, but I need to wait 9 hours. He wasn’t surprised, or apologized for the inconvenience, seems that this things happen quite often.
Second room: after 10 hours, the staff members gave me the keys to the second room, and reassured me, that they checked everything (because I double checked with them if they are sure, that everything is ok). I found that the room was filled with plaster, that peeled of from the ceiling. (It was the same room type, no upgrades). (See the pictures with the note Room N2.)
Third room: the staff member did not come to me to show me the room n2, so when I showed the photos of the peeled of plaster all over the floor, they gave me another room. This time they upgraded to a higher category. It was also not the cleanest (see the photos Room N3) and the air conditioner was quite noisy at times. But I found out this later (because I was waiting for the rooms already for hours).
Also: no bathrobe, no shower cap, the amenities are quite not what you would’ve expect from a 5* hotel.
Note: the staff members were quite indifferent, and first two didn’t even apologized for the inconvenience. Only the staff member Pearly apologized, and tried a little bit to improve the situation.
Pros:
1. Location.
2. View.
3. Outdoor swimming pool.
Overall a quite terrible experience.
My conclusion is: with some (or a lot) of staff training (reception and housekeeping), and if the work would be organized well, all these things could be easily avoided. And it could’ve need a really nice place to stay. But for now, I think for the price, is totally not worth it.
