Hotel is located in quiet place. Convenient to go anywhere in Georgetown. We enjoyed beer and meal at Japanese style restaurant attached to the hotel.

Location is great, close to Armenian street. Room was big. Hotel has two floors and no elevator. Lobby is cozy.

Nice hotel located in the old town heritage district. Was very clean, but noisy at night, it sounded like there was a night club near by.

Nice location just around the street art with many cafes.  Hotel room is clean with friendly staffs. 

The lady day front desk is super helpful and nice , room is totally good decoration, meanwhile there are two cons ; no chill or refrigerator for drinks in such a hot weather condition which is the common weather for whole year at penang, and secondary is the air condition position is too high from the bed, the hotel has tried to add the fan to work with Air condition to chill the room temperature but it didn’t work properly.

It’s my second stay at Spices, a restored heritage shophouse hotel with nine rooms. With complimentary coffee and tea as well as a library, the two lounge areas are a peaceful place to relax and unwind after a day of gallivanting, exploring, and eating your way through Georgetown’s bustling markets. It’s in an ideal central location while also being down a quiet street, so there’s not much noise, even if your room is street side. There is a mosque nearby though, so light sleepers will have an early wake up. Thank you to the friendly staff for accommodating me again.

A cool little hotel near both China & India town. Near to the ferry for Butterworth. Comfortable bed and pleasant staff.

My room is right beside a small alley and freaking MOSQUE nearby that was not visible.. poor sound insulation and I suffered a sleepless night….

老房子改造的小旅館，大堂有調調，床品可以，沒有電梯，樓道窄，房間有蚊子。

非常非常不推薦這家酒店！！如果非要體驗什麼娘惹風，實話説這家店比起我住過的其他娘惹風酒店遜色多了！公共活動空間衹有一個小小的客廳。這都是其次。令我體驗感最差的有以下幾點：1. 沒有電梯！沒有電梯！沒有電梯！而且樓梯又陡又窄！2.房間非常小，我們定的雙人床房間，床就對着廁所門，廁所一打開對着就是床，而且廁所門關不牢，有一條縫。3.非常吵非常吵，床的外面就裝了兩個空調外機，一晚上轟隆隆沒停，晚上十一點隔壁住客回來了，開始洗澡，一開水籠頭，這邊房間就整個房間都是水管爆炸的聲音。總之，非常不推薦。大家信我。

聽我的快跑！！週六日訂的一天330，住的跟在橋洞底下一樣，旁邊清真寺六個大喇叭凌晨6點就開始了，旁邊還有一個酒吧從一點開始到四點成堆的人大笑發酒瘋！！我真的無語😓人生中沒有住過這麼差的酒店。另外酒店沒有拖鞋光腳進去，盡然連衞生間都沒有拖鞋，也就是説我踩一腳灰直接上帶污漬的床😁

Прекрасный отель. Комната маленькая и очень уютная, стильный интерьер с до мелочей продуманными деталями, есть чайник, две чашки, телевизор. В душе напор воды отличный. В плане звукоизоляции шумновато в вечернее время, так как внизу кафе, но ночью, утром и днём всегда тихо. По расположению отлично, в самом центре и пешей доступности от достопримечательностей. Вай фай устойчивое соединение и быстрое. Рекомендую.
