Retreat Siargao Resort

100% this place is a 5/5. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I booked a week in siargao then booked another 5 days in the retreat. Jason & his staff are so welcoming nothing is a problem. The rooms are like apartments nice and spacious. The pool area is peaceful and the pool is clean always a bed for you with towels, the beach is peaceful also. The view is amazing this place is a hidden gem. Tuk tuk into town is 100 Pecso. When I arrived fruit bottle of wine on arrival, then you get a free Korean meal while you stay food cooked in front of you. Honestly if you want great service people that go above and beyond for you with a smile, peaceful location but not far from town spacious Accomadation clean this is the place for you. I would highly recommend this place and when I come back to siargao I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Worth every penny I paid. Thank you Jason for your hospitality and excellent service.

We booked this resort for 6 nights as we wanted to be away from the loud noises of downtown General Luna and all the backpackers to celebrate our anniversary. Resort is in a quiet location and only a 10 minute trike ride to the downtown area. We booked airport transfer thru the resort as we did not want to share tourist vans with everyone which could take 2-3 hours to arrive. The cost was 1800 pesos about $30 USD. First night, Jason and his wife Heriros welcomed us to a ”free” 10 course meal which we shared with a few other guests where there was plenty of great tasting food and even another table had a big lechon pig and they shared some meat from that as well. The staff here is 5 star, led by Rex, Gail, Rica, Alwina and all the others. So friendly and always available if you need anything. I would like to share in my opinion the one review below where the guest accused the staff of stealing from their room then apologizing for the false post then accuse the staff again is 100 percent false review. Filipino people respect their culture, family and their job and would not jeopardize any of that as they would shamed. Sad that guest would not remove that post so I would say overlook that as not a true representation of the staff and the resort. We were in Room D3, second floor overlooking the water and resort. Absolutely beautiful views on the balcony. The rooms are so big and spacious and the beds were very comfortable as we slept like babies. Showers are good and the room comes with free water which is a huge plus as it is very hot in Siargao. We loved the pool and enjoyed it every day. We enjoyed a few dinners in the resort and the prices were in the 400 php range which was ok. The chef cooks a great Bibimbap and Japchae noodles that we had twice. Kudos to the kitchen staff as well as again to the whole staff as they set us up with a very nice anniversary dinner. We did book an Island Hopping thru the resort and they picked us up right at the beach. The beach does have seaweed but so does most of the island so this unavoidable and just mother nature cleaning the sea. Finally, we liked this resort as it was not loud and not a party place and if that is your thing to do then maybe this resort not for you. All in all, five star stay and kudos to the staff again!

The resort is located in the southern part of Siargao outside of General Luna where the water is turquoise and the sand is white and there really is no one present so it's honestly a paradise. I definitely spent more than one day just relaxing by the beach and swimming in the shallow waters. When the tide is low enough, you can walk along the beach for quite some time as well. Rooms are big and clean, though the bathroom is a little dark (could use some more lighting in the shower), but overall comfortable to stay in with Netflix on TV. There are a lot of Korean food options since the owner is Korean. Although a little far removed from General Luna, there are tuk tuks coming by enough to catch a ride into town. Overall a really nice resort away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of town. Just note that you will need to get rides into town for more food options and any necessities.

A wonderfully intimate location, with just 4 buildings and 4 rooms in each building. The rooms are all closer to a suite, with sitting and sleeping areas, separated by a central wall. Wi-Fi signal is very good. Each room is equipped with each own access point. The resort is beachfront property. Great view of the beach! The staff are really friendly and proactive, doing a great job proactively looking out for their guests. The owner lives on the premises and checks in with the guests to ensure everyone is enjoying their stay. Food at the restaurant is great! Highly recommended!

Although it was raining pretty badly in the island during our stay, retreat made it so much comfortable. The rooms are pretty big with its own sala and water dispenser as well as a huge fridge. The hotel’s internet is the fastest in the island and the food is great! Imagine korean hot soup on a cold rainy day while watching Netflix in a cold room! During the few days that it was sunny, retreat also has a great beach front and a pool!
