The Millcroft

Beautiful hotel & restaurant in a perfect location looking out over the bay. The owner and staff were absolutely excellent, very friendly and hospitable to weary travellers. I had to leave at 5am thanks to the ferry company letting me down and having to re-book a stupidly early ferry on to the Orkney Isles, so I couldn't check out as normal and arranged with the owner to leave the room key at the unmanned reception desk before normal operating hours.

複式房間，卧室廁所在二樓，無廚房設施，一線望海。停車方便，步行有餐飲和商店，早餐很不錯。整體滿意，推薦預訂

We were welcomed by Daniel, lovely young gent. Our room was a spacious suite with views over the sea. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, loved the shower. Made to feel welcome in the bar area by the staff and the locals. Good range of beers and spirits. We booked a table for dinner and we opted for the curries, korma and a biryani, lamb samosas and onion bhaji, fantastic food, credit to the chefs. The Scottish breakfast was nice and hot. We couldn't find fault anywhere, it was great 👍.

We visited for a drink and were warmly welcomed by Daniel. He made us feel at home. We were introduced to a very tasty Black Isle dark beer (similar to Guiness but tastier). A very good experiencethat was greatly enjoyed. Thank you Daniel and good luck for the future.

We came to Gairloch to visit the two amazing museums that are in this part of the highlands. The Millcroft is a very convenient hotel. The hotel is homely with a traditional style. Our room at the top of the hotel was large, clean and well appointed. It turned cold whilst we were there and the heating was quick and cosy. Dinner was excellent as was breakfast. Duncan welcomed us to the hotel and made sure we had everything we needed. This hotel would not suit those who are unable to use stairs. Please also note that check in is 1600 hrs (4pm).

Lovely hotel. Great food. Great staff. Great location. Everything was lovely. Would definitely stay there again. My room was comfortable with a great view. Wifi worked really well. We had a lovely dinner and a great breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were an absolutely delight!!

The food is below standard. Over salted to point of pain, rude deputy manager who is condescending when trying to explain. The hotel its self needs updated it’s very old looking. Would waste time or money on visiting! There are 2 other places that are more accommodating and have chefs who know how to cook

We dined here on about 6 occasions during our stay in Gairloch. Kept returning so must be good! The serving staff are really friendly and do a great job. We can recommend the Indian dishes they serve as 'specials' and the more common fish and chips and scampi are good too. We were very well looked after and looking forward to our next visit.
