This was our 2nd stay at Balhambra Suites, the location is amazing, close to the harbour and restaurants. Parking is close by as are amazing beaches and trails. This time we stayed in a loft suite which was spacious and decorated beautifully. We recieved a warm welcome on check in. This is becoming one of our favourite places to stay when visiting Cephalonia.

In the heart of the square- conveniently located to walk to restaurants, shops, harbor and a small beach- this small - but larger than most in the area - hotel offered European flair. The grounds are immaculate and there’s an extraordinary piece of driftwood in the courtyard. Friendly, warm proprietor - a lovely hotel for any traveler.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear we had chosen the right place to stay. The staff are very welcoming but not intrusive, and the rooms are high quality and very tastefully decorated. We had suite 113 with a large balcony and harbour view. There are an abundance of places to eat or drink on your doorstep as well as a mini market a few steps away. We were able to check in and drop our bags off outside and then move the car to the main car park, just a couple of minutes walk away. We visited Emplisi beach each day of our stay, which is gorgeous and just a few minutes drive away. We have already been recommending this place to our friends.

Just back from a wonderful week in Fiscardo, Kefalonia. We stayed at the Balhambra Suites, a small adult only block located at the heart of this beautiful resort. You really could not hope for a better location. The apartment was lovely, very clean, and serviced daily. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Would not hesitate to recommend, and would definitely stay again.

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing stay at Balhambra Suites in Fiscardo in June 2024. We were only able to stay for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed much longer. We had a fabulously spacious suite overlooking the courtyard and therefore our sun terrace complete with rattan sun-loungers and chairs basked in sunshine for most of the day. The bed was really comfortable and the suite was beautifully furnished with a huge en-suite bathroom and superb shower. We loved it so much, we are already seriously considering booking the same suite for next year. The apartments are centrally located and have a feeling of exclusivity with the private courtyard and apartments separated from the quayside restaurants and bars with closed gates. The owner Angelo was extremely helpful offering tips on beaches to visit as well as lending us beach parasols, beach towels etc. We had a thoroughly wonderful stay.

We loved our stay at Balhambra Suites! Wonderful accommodations. We stayed in Suite 113 and loved it! Plenty of space, super comfortable bed, and lovely balcony. We enjoyed looking out at the harbor and the little square. Perfect location to explore Fiskardo. Also, the staff were so kind and helpful. Truly dedicated to providing a great experience, which they succeed in doing! I hope to return to Kefalonia some day. If we are so fortunate, we will most certainly stay here (and book 113 again!). :)

Perfect location and well appointed rooms. Arrived after normal check in hours, reception had instructions for access to our room and key set aside for us. The room was lovely, spacious and afforded a nice view of the pristine and nicely lit courtyard. Housekeeping was excellent, keeping the room was spotless. Location couldn’t be better, 1 min walk to the harbor with all its restaurants and cafes, 3 min walk to the free parking lot just outside of town. Would 100% recommend.

Returned for a second time and we were as happy as the first. The owner takes great care of his guests and we enjoyed our 4 nights in Fiskardo once again. These are self contained suites so breakfast is not included however there are two supermarkets to take care of breakfast needs along with restaurants should you wish. Parking is in the public area above Balhambra Suites however, you can drive down into the town to temporarily unload your luggage if needed. The location is excellent and even though it is central in the town it is quiet. We hope to be back on Kefalonia again in the future and we would not hesitate to stay again at Balhambra.

What a beautiful place to stay! 5 star rooms. Friskardo is on your door step. Angelo & his son Harry & all staff were very welcoming. Always went the extra mile. Can’t wait to return ! Fantastic 4 days!
