Rodeway Inn Greeley

Shout-out 🎉to the entire staff from the owner, the front desk staff, maintenance, & housekeeping staff. Double shout-out 🎉🎉to Donna and her housekeeping crew. The room was updated and clean. All locks worked as expected. Lots of cameras and lighting to make for a safe goodnight sleep. Breakfast was always availabile from 5:30 AM till 9:30 AM, from cold cereal, waffles, cup-o-soup and coffee. From time to time they offered hot cereal, muffins, and fresh fruit. Very pet and kid friendly. Will definitely return if needed. Shopping within close walking distance. Very accommodating with handicap needs. Excellent channel lineup. WiFi was spotty most of the time but that's on Xfinity not the hotel.

Honestly didn't even check in. It was dirty. They were rude. They advertise an outdoor pool.... We cancelled our reservation and stayed somewhere else. Do not recommend. They charged us anyway And I have yet to receive my refund

The motel was not like pictured with pool. There was two old washer and dryers by the pool, which was empty. There were a lot of homeless people on the lot. The room was reasonable priced for the area.

This is the worst hotel, motel, Inn, I have ever stayed at. 29-31Jul2022. When I first got there I wanted to cancel my reservation, but then I’d have to sleep in my truck. First impression: The outside grounds are littered with cigarette butts and trash. Second: The majority of residents seemed to be PERMANENT, it was like an SRO apartment building run by a slum landlord. Many appeared to be unemployed, and some drug *******. One room actually had one of those screens you Velcro to the door frame to keep bugs out so you can keep the door open. Who does that on a temporary stay? I observed several portable grills outside some rooms, one had a one gallon gas can next to it. Does anyone think fire hazard? Ok, ok, ok…. Ok, all the rooms had outside doors, that is to say there were no indoor corridors. The room itself was stripped of all essentials, no coffee maker, no phone, no clock, the sink didn’t even have a stopper. Don’t drop anything in the sink. The only amenity was an ice bucket and two plastic wrapped plastic cups, Period. The door looked like it had been forced open previously and the lock minimally repaired. Fortunately I did not have a physical confrontation. I did not feel safe at this hotel, I did feel my truck was safe. The rooms rug was filthy, and the room itself was only as clean as the staff could get it with what they had to work with. Can’t blame them, it’s a management failure. Included breakfast consisted of the typical waffle maker, Coco puffs, and coffee from a pot that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years, that’s it. The worst thing that happened to me: after checking out (I was there two nights) was when I got to the nice restaurant I found for breakfast, I could not open my drivers door from the inside. I had to roll down my window and open it using the exterior handle. This is typical of the damage done to the locking mechanism when someone tries to jimmy the lock open with a slim jim. Apparently they did not get in. This is my second negative experience at a Rodeway Inn, but this is the worst of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The only reason I rated it a one is because there is no option to rate a zero or minus one. The other Rodeway Inn was in Grand Island, NE. I’m done with this chain, forever. If I have no other choice, I’ll sleep in my truck.
