Irene Apartments

Agios Gordios Corfu, Irene apartments, the place where we feel at home and where we experience peace. We meet friends and prefer to stay at Irene Wellness Apartments. We pay a little more for a room and it is worth every euro. We look down on the lovely swimming pool, the excellent pool bar and the great small-scale restaurant, with its own dishes and menus and an excellent breakfast buffet. A nice family-run apartment complex with various options. Great service, lovely and good food, relaxing swimming, a cosy bar with cocktails, to be short: AN EXCELLENT PLACE FOR YOUR (FAMILY) HOLIDAY. Last summer (2024) there was a major water shortage on Corfu. Irene apartments had supplies of water delivered for their guests. This is a sign, that the family does everything they can to please and service their guests. Despite their efforts, you can't please everyone. Agios Gordios is a great, nice, pleasant village at the beach on the west coast of Corfu. We have been coming here for over 20 years and have stayed in many different accommodations, with and without our children. Next year we are back again at Irene apartment, ofcourse. We have booked for June and September 2025. What a wonderful thing to look forward to.

If I could give zero ratings, I would. Location is OK, outside of that there was nothing good about this place. I stayed there in August and the manager was extremely rude, she verbally abused me when I made a complaint about the condition of the rooms and noise from the neighbours. Shouting in my face in front of my child and refusing my refund so I could stay elsewhere. Was not cooperative at all and resulted to shouting at me rather than actually addressing the issues. The Wifi is rubbish so you will need your own mobile data. The kitchen and bathroom are health hazards. Worst accommodation I have ever stayed in!

We stayed in Wellness at Irene's apartments in September. I've lost count of the amount of times we have stayed there now. It's our Corfu home with the lovely family and all our friends we arrange to meet there. Agios Gordios is a wonderful village and its all the people that make it special and keep us returning. Next year is already booked. Can't wait to be there again.

We have been visiting Irene's for over 10 years and have NEVER had any problems. Gregory always looks after us very well and Iren is so helpful and accommodating (booking taxis etc for us) The apartments are very clean and spacious and offer great value in Agios Gordios. The pool and pool bar are in a lovely garden setting and very relaxing and peaceful.......and the food is amazing ! (we had wonderful Spit Roast Chicken and also some fabulous Squid this year) The apartments are only a 5 minute walk from the beach and are in an excellent location. We are already booked for 2025 and can't wait until we return!!

Agios Gordios is a beautiful resorts although most bars and shops were closed due to it being end of season. Irene’s apartments were very disappointing sorry to say, the pool area and bar are clean and welcoming but the apartments were really disappointing for us during our stay. Our reason for writing this as I don’t like to normally write a negative review was the cleanliness of the room, basic is ok for us but we expect it to be clean and sorry to say it wasn’t The location is excellent, but rooms facing the road can be noisy at times We had to ask for the sheets to be changed during our 9 day stay, as the floors were transferring dirt onto them, they said they would do this for us only to find that they had turned the sheets over so had to ask again and then they were changed, Sorry to be so negative but cleanliness is important to us

Absolutely horrible tv never worked the beds wear like a prison cell smelly drains agious gordious is totally run down beach was like a building sight went hear 20 year's ago and it was lovely but sadly it's like a forgotten town irene apartments is a no go avoid at all cost's
