We are still here as I write this. I have seen the other recent reviews and feel I need to redress the balance. This is the third year running we have been here. We stay in the Wellness apartments. They are immaculate and have everything you could need. The pool area and bar is fantastic. It's also immaculate. The grass surrounding the pool is like a bowling green. They take great care of the place. This is a family run accommodation and they take great care to make you feel welcome. There is a reason that almost everyone here has been coming back for years. If you are willing to be friendly back you will love it. Some people turn up expecting a 5* resort. This isn't that, it's a friendly, relaxing lovely spot. A few minutes to the beach and the lovely town with many options for meals and drinks. The food at the bar is lovely. I can't comment on the older part of the accommodation which is adjacent to the road but the wellness apartments are lovely. I've travelled lots of countries and done the "all inclusive" resorts as the children grew up. I couldn't stand to do that again. This place is our go to place for relaxation and friendly people. The

We are here now and have to say reception is never open snd when it is the lady there is not helpful. We arrived Saturday at midnight and no lights on and only for we turned on out mobile phone torch we would not have seen our names and where we were to stay. Tv has not worked and I've asked twice but no joy. We are in a room on the main road and the noise in the morning is awful. The adverts for here are making it look like quality and care. Very dissatisfied with love holidays for taking us here.

Worst accommodation I have ever seen The women was the worst person I have ever dealt with in my life. Let's start with Hotel one, Irene Apartments. Rate 1 Star Basic rooms for S/C. When we first arrived we got a smell of mould. The bed is firm with 2 sheets & 2 small pillows. Our bed was made up twice in one week but the sheets weren't changed, also no clean towels. Shower is very small so the shower curtain keeps catching you. Room 102, Freezer door is broken, electric hob dirty, light fitting loose, bathroom mirror mouldy, outside light not working. The internet is slow. Hotel Two. Irene Wellness Spot. Rate 3 star Rooms a lot better (but you pay more) cleaner, smell fresh, looked after. Gym is there (if that's what you call it) The Pool area is between both Hotels and very clean area. You will also find your pool bar and snacks. There is NO restaurant. You have breakfast at the pool seating area (8 euro's but not worth it). Food is good price's average. The staff there are really good looking after you all the time. Your supermarkets are right outside the Hotel. You'll find the local bus stop and shops and restaurants. Sea is a short 5 minute walk. For ATM use the ALPHA Bank for the better rate. Overall I would go back, the only reason for my two stars are 1 for the staff and 1 for a lovely clean pool area. Avoid.

Terrible room, I have stayed in tired old rooms but they have always been clean, ours was not . WATER RATIONED FOR SET HOURS. Cannot flush chain, wash hands out of hours. Freedom to shower when you want not possible, had to plan day around water. Sheets not changed all week, towels once. Cleaneris a lovely lady, but cannot do a good job, too many rooms and not enough water, told when to do towels and sheets. Think she is scared of owner, poor lady, wouldn't want to work for the owners. Spoke to other holiday makers, no other accommodation has WATER RATIONED. Extra euros for air con. Pool staff friendly. Mozzies everywhere, probably due to hygiene and big drain pipe next block into infested pit. Right on road, noisy, fumes, more dirt and dust. WIFI terrible drops out all the time. Stayed poolsde block 2. Cheap but not cheerful. AVOID.

Absolutely the worst place I've ever stayed no water room full off mosquitoes damp and beds had fleas afder the second night booked a hotel in in agious georgious came hear 18 years previous and it's now a run down town beach was like a dump booked this at your own discretion plenty off lovely people in the resort aka george in the shop fantastic fella will help and advise you on any issues but the irene apartments avoid

Agios Gordios Corfu, Irene apartments, the place where we feel at home and where we experience peace. We meet friends and prefer to stay at Irene Wellness Apartments. We pay a little more for a room and it is worth every euro. We look down on the lovely swimming pool, the excellent pool bar and the great small-scale restaurant, with its own dishes and menus and an excellent breakfast buffet. A nice family-run apartment complex with various options. Great service, lovely and good food, relaxing swimming, a cosy bar with cocktails, to be short: AN EXCELLENT PLACE FOR YOUR (FAMILY) HOLIDAY. Last summer (2024) there was a major water shortage on Corfu. Irene apartments had supplies of water delivered for their guests. This is a sign, that the family does everything they can to please and service their guests. Despite their efforts, you can't please everyone. Agios Gordios is a great, nice, pleasant village at the beach on the west coast of Corfu. We have been coming here for over 20 years and have stayed in many different accommodations, with and without our children. Next year we are back again at Irene apartment, ofcourse. We have booked for June and September 2025. What a wonderful thing to look forward to.

If I could give zero ratings, I would. Location is OK, outside of that there was nothing good about this place. I stayed there in August and the manager was extremely rude, she verbally abused me when I made a complaint about the condition of the rooms and noise from the neighbours. Shouting in my face in front of my child and refusing my refund so I could stay elsewhere. Was not cooperative at all and resulted to shouting at me rather than actually addressing the issues. The Wifi is rubbish so you will need your own mobile data. The kitchen and bathroom are health hazards. Worst accommodation I have ever stayed in!

We had a wonderful 2 week stay at the Irene Apartments, despite a couple of days heavy rain. The poolside bar ran by Gregory was excellent for both food and drink, especially the special coffees ☕️. The Apartments were very clean for tidy. We never experienced any problems with the water anywhere in the village, which had been a problem weeks earlier due to a well issue.
