It started off promisingly, with a smooth coordination for my pick-up at LAX, which pleasantly exceeded my expectations and set a hopeful tone for my stay. However, that initial positivity quickly faded. When I entered my room and opened the curtains, I was met with an unsightly view: a construction dumping site littered with open garbage bins and, shockingly, an exposed toilet. The thought of starting my mornings with coffee while staring at such a view was less than ideal. The next morning, as I tried to enjoy my coffee, the scene outside was impossible to ignore. I found myself unable to finish my coffee and went straight to the reception desk, feeling quite frustrated. I explained the situation to the manager, expressing my disappointment and requesting a different room. To her credit, she did her best to help by offering a room one floor up. While I appreciated her attempt, the ‘solution’ barely improved the situation. The same eyesore remained directly below, and I found myself avoiding the view entirely by only looking up at the sky instead. What could have been a comfortable, relaxing stay turned into one filled with frustration and disappointment. While the staff made an effort, it didn’t change the fact that each morning started with a grim reminder of the inadequate environment. The experience left a sour aftertaste, overshadowing any positives the hotel had to offer. With all of this in mind, I’m giving 2 stars. Sadly, I won’t be returning and would not recommend this experience to others.

Room was clean but could be a bit noisy from the nearby train station. A simple morning breakfast buffet offered was satisfying and good for those in a hurry.

My experience at this hotel was excellent from start to finish. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff made sure all my needs were met. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet—perfect for a restful stay. The hotel’s location made it easy to explore the area, and all the facilities were in great condition. It was a smooth and enjoyable stay overall. I’d gladly come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable place to stay.

Don’t waste your time has no shuttle like website says and $50 for an uber inc tip, to get the uber need to catch 2x Bus, also 4 Hilton’s with similar names,

We stayed the day only. We had a late night flight. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The shuttle to the airport runs every 30 minutes which was very convenient. Overall a great stay.

Everything is fine and only question is the cost for breakfast is expensive than the receptionist said. $20/ person.

Last moment reservation due to flight delay, the airport shuttle is convenient. Room is maintained well and the stay is comfortable.

The room is large with 2 beds. Air condition is cold enough for a good sleep. Shuttle bus will start in HGI then go to Sonesta and Double Tree, which will fill up all seats.

Check in was fast however some of the staff at the front desk was more interested in talking to each other about personal stuff than to provide a professional attitude. Room was OK. Nothing stood out of the ordinary. I wanted to use the gym but was small and crowded so I ended up going outside the hotel for a run. I booked a 10.30am shuttle service to the airport and the driver arrived almost 30 mins late.

Disappointing Stay Due to Loud Protests Outside the Hotel My recent stay at Hilton Garden Inn (Oct 16 - Oct 19) was far from the peaceful and relaxing experience I expected. While the hotel itself met expectations in terms of amenities and service, the major issue was the daily loud protests that started at 7 a.m. right outside our window. This disrupted our rest every single morning and seriously impacted our ability to enjoy our holiday. We raised the issue with the front desk and were informed that the protests, organized by hotel employees demanding better contracts and wage increases, were beyond the hotel’s control. While I understand labor issues are complex, this response was disappointing, especially since the hotel made no effort to offer compensation or accommodate us in a quieter room. I find it unreasonable that guests are not informed about such ongoing disruptions prior to booking, especially when the noise is so significant and starts early in the morning. For the price we paid, I expected Hilton to prioritize guest comfort and offer some form of compensation or resolution, but none was provided. If you’re planning a stay here, be aware of potential disruptions from external factors that seem to go unaddressed. For now, I cannot recommend this location due to their lack of consideration for guest experience during a time of such disturbance.

Good location. The staffs are sometime not available.

The location was great and convenient near the airport. The service was really good and we were able to leave our luggage after check out. Also they had vending machines which was nice.

Recently renovated - comfortable bed, spacious rooms, great location. Free airport shuttle service.
