Good location with a lots of shops near by. Parking is free for guest. Rooms is tiny but clean, shower rooms and toilets are tidy as well. Kitchen is bit small without oven, u can cook some simple food there.

Hostal para alojarse cuando vas de paso por el este de Islandia. Alojamiento muy bien equipado y con varias zonas comunes. Habitaciones limpias y cómodas. Mal insonorizadas, demasiado ruido, las habitaciones dan a la sala de estar. Pocas duchas, en la planta de abajo los WC y duchas estan incorporados lo que genera que se acumule gente.

Excellent guesthouse. Great location and plenty of on site parking. Lovely, clean and spacious rooms with great shared bathroom facilities and amazing shared kitchen and dining area. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and utensils and tea and coffee facilities. Good, clear information for self check in and great reception area. Excellent stop off for a ring road trip: short turn directly off route 1.

Beds were hard and uncomfortable, only a single pillow for each person that provided no support. There were 2 bathrooms on our floor, 1 was in significantly better condition than the other. The showers were very slow to drain to the point where you had to turn the water off, resistance of the adjustable head was gone so it kept falling to the bottom, water temperature barely got above luke warm. Despite there being signs about quiet hours, people coming in for late check-in were loud and the early risers were making all kinds of noise in the kitchen

Guesthouse is well maintained, simple and clean. No elevator but not an issue for us as we pre-packed our stuff light for just 1 night stay. Kitchen is well equipped, so it's easy to buy groceries from nearby mart and to make your own meal. Room is small but reasonable for the cost we paid. Just needed a few hours of sleeping location. Shared bathroom/toilet were clean and frequently tidied. Might be due to low period, there is only 3 rooms occupied on our floor.

I'd absolutely go back there. No reals Cons in my opinion but we didn't actually use the showers. However the bathrooms were clean from what I could see. The kitchen was clean and well appointed with the necessary items. Rooms were clean and a bit spacious actually which was awesome for 4 of us. However two of our number stated the pillows and comforter stunk of febreeze. Two of us noticed nothing although we were assured that our bedding also stunk hahaha. Check in was brief and didn't instruction us on how to check out and after about 7pm there was no one present until the day after we left according to the sign on the door.

While the lounging and dining area was large and bright, the kitchen was tiny and poorly laid out. There was no way to have two groups prepare a meal at the same time, the sink was in the way of the fridge and the conduction cooktop did not respond to touch. One of the three days, we had no towels to wash or dry our dishes ( which were hand washed by the guests,poorly!) The bed was hard, lumpy and saggy. The bathrooms were adequately clean, but the air circulation was very poor if the door was shut between users as it often was. Their smells persisted for at least ten minutes after they left the room. The hallways and dining area was extremely echo-y. There was no way to carry on two conversations in the room at the same time. We arrived at the usual time guests would arrive - 2 other parties arrived while we were waiting - we had to ring up an employee who was off site and had to wait quite some time. We had the feeling this place was all about the owner making money and nothing else. They charge 5,000 ISK for one load of laundry! Our smaller room did not have information about the services in town but the larger rooms had all the usual information one would expect to welcome you into a new town. Despite the good breeze outside, the windows did not open enough to let enough air flow through to ventilate the rooms. We decided to leave the guesthouse one day early and forfeit the cost to get new accommodations.

The guesthouse is beautiful and clean. They offer free wifi but even though its written on googlemaps, they do in fact not have an airport shuttle (however there are a few public transportations). Be careful when consider using said public transportations, they do not always stop where they should.

La Guesthouse è pulita,ha un'ampia cucina condivisa completa di tutto. I bagni condivisi sono puliti. I materassi comodi. Parcheggio disponibile gratuitamente. Peccato per i letti a castello le cui reti cigolano parecchio e per l'odore di umido, in quanto la camera ha delle finestrelle piccolissime da poter aprire

Para comenzar esto no es un hotel, aquí tienes una habitación y compartes cocina, baño y ducha. Una vez aclarado esto, el check-in empieza a las 16:00 h, sin estrés. Yo tenia una habitación triple con una cama doble y una sencilla que eran cómodas. La habitación pequeña para 3 personas y sus equipajes, pero todo bien cuidado. Hay suficientes baños y duchas compartidas. Calefacción en funcionamiento. En general todo el establecimiento está muy bien cuidado y es de agradecer, pero lo que sorprende es la cocina, es espectacular para cocinar lo que quieras. Se trata de una cocina industrial con varios fogones y picas y todo como nuevo, incluso hay hornos. Nevera para guardar la comida, y gran cantidad de mesas. Tiene parking frente al edificio. Como anécdota, hay que quitarse los zapatos al entrar, para ir descalzos por las dependencias del alojamidento.

Host completamente inaffidabile e scontroso. Avevamo prenotato una camera con cancellazione gratuita fino a 72h prima dell’arrivo. A 52h da questo, abbiamo chiesto cortesemente di poter cancellare senza penali per meteo avverso (in Islanda è cosa comune chiudere le strade per neve, e solitamente gli host sono consapevoli di questo e non applicano penali in questi casi). Il gestore della guesthouse, oltre a negarci anche un rimborso parziale del 10-20-30%, è stato molto scontroso al telefono, assicurandoci che le strade sarebbero state ok. Allego foto delle “strade ok”. No comment.

Pas habitués à ce genre de chambres, nous apprehendions et avons été surpris par le calme, la propreté. Les douches plutôt petites un tabouret pour poser ses affaires perso mais propres. De grands WC. Chambres propres, bonne literie. Nous avons pu prendre notre petit déjeuner et notre repas du soir tranquille seuls dans la salle en communs. Nous n avons pas trouvé de passoire... Le bâtiment est situé dans une zone plutôt industrielle. Vous trouverez pas loin de quoi faire vos courses (netto ou bonus) ou une pizzeria ou resto rapide.
