I recently stayed at the Olalani Hotel and had a ok experience overall. The location is good, and the amenities are ok. However, there are a few areas for improvement that would elevate the experience even further.
Firstly, the in-room slippers provided were not new, which was a bit disappointing. It would be great to see fresh, unused slippers for guests. Additionally, I believe that providing pots and pans for cooking, along with proper cooking utensils, cutlery, and plates, would enhance the self-catering experience for condo hotel experience.
I also noticed that the in-room menu was not readily available, which could be improved for convenience. A rice cooker in the room would be an excellent addition for guests who prefer to prepare their meals.
Bathtub master bedroom must have a privacy, not see through glass. Ceiling maintenance access is open
The tiki bar, while a lovely concept, felt empty and could benefit from a more vibrant atmosphere. Kids pool is dirty. Souvenir shop, way over priced. Furthermore, I would suggest rotating the buffet items more frequently to keep the offerings fresh and exciting. On a minor note, I found that the staff at the egg station were not as friendly as I had hoped, which detracted from the overall dining experience.
Despite these issues, we enjoyed the stay and would recommend Olalani Hotel for its beautiful setting. With a few adjustments, it could easily become a five-star destination!
