Hotel Boutique la Marquesina - Adults Only

Best room on the beach with a view and first time solo. My room is double aspect, comfortable, on the beach and much more than expected as a solo traveller for the first time as a widow . Cleanliness, roof terrace, staff and comfort exceptional Huge bed views to die for. Just love it.

Do not go there had to wait 90 minutes for our meal .. an had to return 3 meals out of the 4 we ordered . Ordered a spaghetti bolognaise.. a did not have any bolognaise in it .. wife ordered steak .. an unless you 560 set of teeth in ye mouth you would have got through the chewiness of it … lasagna… straight out of the microwave… disgusting service … did not care about us at all

Arrived around 9.30 in the evening with a warm welcome from reception which set the tone of our stay at this truly great hotel, fantastic view over the town beach from our room number 12, saxophone player down below opposite the restaurant was just a dreamlike experience from the balcony and of course all the sounds from music square a stone's throw away, we would absolutely stay here again, the sangria brought up to us at the pool was delicious and refreshing, room very comfortable, and reception very amiable (Hola Fernando 😀), we absolutely would return here again for sure, Muchas Gracias Hotel Boutique La Marquesina.

Lovely 7 night stay at this hotel. We had a premier room (No 18) which had great views & balconies. The staff were friendly & helpful. We were room only but had a couple of tasty breakfasts at Barracuda. It is a great bar for people watching & you can also phone to get drinks delivered to rooftop. We had a swim in the adjacent town beach most mornings. We will be back.

What a fabulous small hotel. Immaculately clean, comfy bed and to top it all wake up to the sound is the sea, sit in bed looking at the sea, then breakfast by the sea. All rooms face the sea. Nice plunge pool on the roof and you just dial down to get drinks from the Baracuda bar (where you have breakfast) Situated in the old town on the old quay - in a pedestrian area (you will be dropped off by the taxi rank round the corner - not far to take your luggage). Stones throw to the beach, restaurants and bars. The music square is round the corner so it can be noisy if you wanted an early night - the live music stops just after 11 and it’s good! We will def be back.

Having had drinks many times at Barracuda Bar (adjoining the hotel) on previous visits to Corralejo, we'd always said that we should try out this boutique hotel... It was the right decision. The place is great. Small and intimate, with only 18 rooms, you don't feel overcrowded. It's just a nice, clean place with friendly, welcoming staff who can't do enough to help. Breakfast is included at Barracuda Bar and there's a good choice. I was diagnosed with diabetes just before we left England, and I found a good range of stuff I could eat that suited my brand new diet. Tamara, one of the senior staff at Barracuda, has worked there for 5 years, and would always give a warm welcome to friendly customers. The hotel is situated right in the old town, so there are plenty of other restaurants and bars close by too. For healthy food (which was important to me on this visit because of the T2D diagnosis), I would highly recommend Sanus restaurant, which is only a 10 minute walk away (I'll review them separately on here at some point). Alongside their standard menu, they also specialise in gluten free, coeliac-friendly, vegan and diabetes-friendly food BUT WITH ACTUAL FLAVOUR. The owner is very knowledgable and told me what was safe for me to eat and what I should avoid, which was exactly what I needed! The hotel's roof terrace with its plunge infinity pool is small, yes, but we loved it as you could always get a sunbed and the drinks service (telephone down to Barracuda) was quick and easy. Drinks prices were not typical hotel prices either. Don't be too concerned with the reviews that mention the performer on the promenade (he's actually pretty good anyway!) or teh music from one of the nearby squares; it's genuinely not intrusive and the entertainment at the square finishes promptly at 11pm. We're already planning a return trip to La Marquesina in September.
