Extended Stay America Select Suites - Columbia - Stadium Blvd

The room was okay. The halls smelled terrible. The emergency exits were very dirty. Muddy for 3 days. There was trash in the parking lot. A torn apart riding mower. The boasted about a kitchenette. You had to get the coffeemaker and supplies from front desk. Parts were missing on coffeemaker. Had to get that before use. Coffee mug was "sanatized" but had lipstick on it. Tried to get my money back and could not . They said it was a third party booking. The hot water on the bathroom sink did not work. Very bad experience.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed in my 72 years. Walked in. Staff friendly. Started to walk down the hall to our room and we were met with an overpowering stench of vomit. No one was scrubbing the floor, no spray or disinfectant smell. Just vomit. Got in our room and asked staff to spray in front of our door. We were given ice trays to make ic. Motel had no ice machine. No one told us that the freezer had been shut off. No ice in the morning. Took a shower. Came out of bathroom where I spotted Kleenex sticking out of of the door’s peep hole. I was disgusted and actually a bit scared staying in this filthy place and by the way the recliner was cheap and broken. Never ever will I stay at another extended stay and will let my family/friends across the country know!!

This is a terrible hotel. It is basically a motel. The rooms are dirty, old, and very outdated. The carpets had dark red stains on them, the bed had an odor, the windows didnt close all the way. When I woke up I found 6 live bees in the room.

Upon check in, find out there was no coat hangers in the closet but the hotel staff was happy to give me a set (total 10) of new hangers. Strong water pressure simple shower head with anti-slip bathtub floor is a plus. Breakfast is grab and go with coffee, tea, hot chocolate plus 3 varieties of muffins, 4 varieties of Nature Valley granola bars and 2 varieties of Quaker oatmeals. Both black office chairs in room have white stain that cannot be removed by disinfectant wipes. Multiple coffee stain spots in one of the lamp shade. Cigarette smoke from the ground floor outside my window tends to find its way through the air conditioner into my room on the second floor which is a nuisance because we are non-smokers. Direct booking from the Extended Stay web site with a special non refundable 50% off rate for a 10-night stay made it tolerable. The green policy of the hotel only refresh the room upon request with a nominal fee means some guest put out their garbage outside their room not knowing that they should dispose of the garbage in the trash room by themselves. Strong wi-fi signal but internet availability is intermittent which is frustrating.

5 star staff from Cara to Anna they always greeted me by name and made me feel at home. Enjoyed my years at this facility and highly recommend it to anyone needing a safe place with an excellent staff.

Very nice staff and a cheap for the room and it's the best hotel in Columbia I comes with its own kitchen and fridge and stove and closet plus they let you borrow dishes and pots and pans for free

Stayed 3 nights through the American Cancer Society while I received radiation and chemo. Room was clean and organized. Staff was extremely nice and accommodating. I’ve worked in hospitality for 16 years and was very pleased with our experience.
