First class service - unless something goes wrong! The experience doesn't much matter if the ending was horrible. We had a wonderful time at the hotel over 3 nights/4 days. As you can imagine, we spent a ton of money as the resort prices are very "Disney" in nature, but we were happy to do it because the service was great. However, when the valet returned our rental car for our departure to the Denver airport, the entire windshield was severely damaged. We immediately notified security and filed a claim with the very nice security representative who said they would review footage and get back to us. He also reassured us "the hotel just usually takes care of stuff like this." After a month, I followed up and received a call from a lady stating she was the General Manager to finalize the claim - and her demeanor and response was shocking. Despite her review of video footage showcasing a perfect windshield upon our arrival, and that surveillance camera footage revealing a destroyed windshield upon valet return, she indicated that "windshield damage isn't our responsibility." She further went on to say that she did see the footage showing a perfect car upon arrival and a significantly damaged windshield upon valet return, and that she also knows we didn't touch it for our entire stay, but "it isn't their problem." I requested the footage to see what happened to the windshield, and she said, "That's proprietary." I requested a call from the Vice President but obviously haven't heard back, and I won't. I wouldn't have heard back at all unless I called to follow up in the first place. The rudeness and disregard after I was no longer a paying guest was disgusting. The whole process was very subjective and felt criminal, to be honest. They know I will not hire an attorney or push it further; after all, it's only a $600 or so bill, but they should be ashamed of their conduct. This hotel was on a business rotation for our 50-60-person board of directors' annual meeting, but I will share this experience with the meeting organizer to help ensure the treatment of their guests in these types of situations is well known. I will NEVER use or refer them again, for business or otherwise. Keep this in mind when booking.
