Rayfont Hotel Chengdu seems to be a convenient choice, especially if you need to be near the East Railway Station. Guests often highlight the friendly staff, good location for transport, and amenities like the pools. Honestly, the gym was extremely disgusting. I didn't take a picture of it but there was literally something that looked like spit in between the different weights on one of the machines. Also, the rowing machine basically broke after one row. The location is very hard to find because the hotel is a part of a Rayfont group situation so there is an apartment hotel complex in the same spot and a bunch of other hotels. The room was also quite dirty and not all of the rooms have windows that open, making the room very hot. I had to ask to switch rooms. The bathroom was quite gross. you can see there is something wrong with the mirror and even the tray with toiletries had weird dust and particles inside. The toilet even had a stain already on it when I opened it, having just arrived. Clearly, the hotel has put all of their efforts into making a great lobby but the room is very run-down.

Excellent hotel if you need to take the morning train from Chengdu East railway station. It's just a five minute walk from the hotel. There are plenty of food options around the hotel, but if you're planning to explore the city you might want to opt for a more centrally located hotel

Hotel is very near to train station, exit from the East side and you will be able to reach this hotel from the basement. You don't have to worry about rain or walk under the hot sun. Estimate walk time is 8 to 10 mins to reach this hotel from the train station.

Very convenient location if you take the high speed train to somewhere. Plenty of restaurants, convenient stores and other amenities.  The only hotel room in China without mini fridge would be a minus point, however they do send ice to rooms upon request.  Overall good experience.

Excellent hotel 5mins walk to the train station. Free upgrade to higher floor. Assist us to store our luggage for a few days when we go to Jiuzhaigou.

The room was pretty nice but extremely cold. The location is perfect if you travel to other places.

Near Train Station. Even with the underpass under renovation, is only 10 mins walk away. Accessible. Recommended for people who wants to take the bullet train.

Great hotel, a little confusing to find when finding it underground from the train station rather than above ground from the street, but it is signed and there are plenty of staff around to ask. Convenience store in the lobby. We got a free upgrade too.
