The Trembath Lake cabin is located a half hour west of Marquette in the heart of the rugged wilderness of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. This rustic 4 bedroom custom built log home is situated on 640 private acres of rugged, remote UP wilderness and overlooks the rocky shores of pristine Trembath Lake. The 35 acre private lake offers excellent fishing for pike, bass, and crappie. A small sand beach makes great swimming on those warm summer days. Wildlife viewing from the wrap around deck features loons, swans, beavers, an occasional moose and a variety of other species. Miles of trails that wind through the property provide opportunity for additional wildlife viewing with beautiful vistas along the way. Be sure to bring along your mountain bike, ATV, cross country skis or snowmobiles depending on the season. Groomed ORV or snowmobile trails are easily accessed nearby. These trails also serve the adventurous ATV enthusiast or wilderness biker. Paddle boards, a fishing kayak, a pontoon boat, and firewood are available on site, contact us directly for fee information. Pet friendly, Lots of parking for cars, trucks or trailers. There are no other renters or homes on this property or the lake. This is a very nice family retreat or for large groups, if you need accommodate more then 24 dont hesitate to ask. Need to bring a camper shouldn’t be a problem, just put it in the inquiry. There is a fire pit and firewood is provided, sauna with a changing room, 3 gas grills, it includes a 1 story cabin that is right next to the lodge, it has a living room, full kitchen, full bathroom, 1 bedroom with 2 queen size beds. The main lodge is also a 1 story structure, has a large great room, dining room, 2 full kitchens, 6 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and a half bath with the washer and dryer located in this bathroom, 1 of the full kitchens, entryway , the 1/2 bath with the washer and dryer, great room, dining room is in the center of the lodge. Then on one end of the lodge you have 2 bedrooms, each has a king size bed, there is also a full bath and full kitchen on this end, on the other end of the lodge there are 4 bedrooms, each bedroom have a king size bed and a set of twin bunk beds, there are 2 full bathrooms on this end. This lodge has a 30 acre spring fed lake all to yourself, there are bluegill, sunfish, and perch in the lake, we dot not allow any boats to be to the lake other than our own to control the spread of invasive species. The 160 Acre Property offers your own lake and stream. Enjoy fishing, boating, swimming, campfires and hiking through beautiful hardwoods. Row boats, canoes and firewood are provided.
