The hot water can run out quicker than expected, so please plan to space your showers accordingly, especially with a larger group. If you take a 10-minute shower, it will almost empty the whole hot water tank. *When booking, remember the current renovations and/or potential noise and/or vendors coming and going. All of the work would be done during normal business hours. The Lower Twin Cabin sits on 34 beautiful, private acres of forest and meadows, with huge conifers, over a half a mile of private low-bank riverfront and numerous walking trails. The cabin sits by a large spring-fed pond, with a short walk to the West Twin River. At night enjoy the sounds of the river or the frog serenade from the pond. The cabin is completely OFF-THE-GRID with no electricity, no Internet, no cell phone service and no neighbors. The comfortable sleeping options are as follows: two full size memory foam beds in the bunk, one twin size memory foam trundle bed and one queen size memory foam pull out from the couch. There is a blue tooth sound system with speakers built into the inside of the cabin, outside of cabin and on the deck. The speakers can be turned on and off by zone. There is a TV with DVD player and WIFI available. There are two SUP paddle boards and a two person kayak available for adult guest use. A beautiful drive up the mountainside from Port Angeles town center brings you to the cabin where you feel a million miles from everything, yet are only 10 minutes to the Port Angeles City Pier! The cabin is perfectly located with easy access to Hurricane Ridge Visitor center (41 mins), Marymere Falls/Lake Crescent Lodge (26 mins), Port Angeles town (10 mins), and all the Olympic National Park has to offer. The interior of the cabin is tastefully decorated and fully stocked with everything you need to have a great get away. Hang out on the deck with your morning coffee as you watch the ships pass on the ocean. After a fun day exploring the national park, soak in the hot tub or have a cocktail on the deck as you look at the distant lights of Victoria and gaze at the starry sky. The upstairs usually does not require AC, however there is a portable AC machine available to use during the summer months.- No Smoking, vaping, drug use on the property, both outdoors and indoors.- No more than 8 guests allowed overnight. - No parties or events.
