Very pleasant pub, bar staff and waitress. However, left with a bitter taste due to the fact that the chef felt the need to "educate me" on what a medium cooked steak looks like in front of my friends. We won't be returning sadly which is a shame. Attached image below of what I believed a medium sirloin to look like vs what I was served which was medium well to well done!

We visited for Sunday lunch. The staff were pleasant and the ambience relaxing. The food was well presented (not piled up, unlike the present trend), and we were able to see what we were eating. It was cooked well and tasty. The cheesecake for dessert was really enjoyable Hope to visit again soon

Lovely village pub. Very friendly & professional. Food & Drink was excellent with a large choice. The special board was good value. The accommodation was comfortable, the whole experience had a homely feel to it.I would definitely stay here again in the future.

My wife and I recently had an overnight stay at the Burlton en route from Devon to the Holyhead ferry. This is a lovely country pub/restaurant which has nice rooms in a separate building. The owners and staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Both dinner and breakfast were great in the lovely bar/restaurant. There is also a really pretty garden area with tables. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable with a good size bathroom. All in all we really enjoyed the Burlton and would highly recommend!

We shared a traditional Sunday roast with family. The food was fresh, we'll cooked and very tasty, served very efficiently by the young waitress. The barman recommended a good red wine, the surroundings were very comfortable and friendly both in and out. We will certainly recommend it to friends.

We went as a family to their steak night, it was fantastic. All main courses £12.95 but all 3 of us ordered the rib eye steak. All cooked to perfection and tasted so nice. Haven’t visited for a while, such a lovely country pub, fabulous food, great drinks and lovely surroundings. Will definitely be back

Came here with a large group ( 9 adults, 4 children & 3 babies) for our family Christmas gathering. The food was excellent, the staff were very attentive and friendly- we couldn’t fault it. Will definitely be returning. Thank you :) x

Lovely little cosy pub with great food and a very welcoming ambience. We had the Caribbean chicken for main which was fantastic! Prices are very reasonable and the staff were very attentive. We shall be back!

At the end of a UK and Italy tour we asked ourselves if we had one more week in Europe where would we go and the answer was easy: Burlton Inn. Outstanding service, food, room, company. We will return!

Hadn’t been to this pub for years but having heard it had been taken over, me and my Father popped in to check it out. What a wonderful experience! The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Also the atmosphere was lovely and so we decided to stay for lunch. Deciding what to order off the menu was tough because we wanted it all! Great menu and I also noticed the children’s options were good so I’ll definitely be taking my son there soon too. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and it was all cooked fresh so the quality was fabulous. Having enjoyed ourselves so much, we decided to pop back the very next day for lunch again! Thank you so much for a wonderful time each time we’ve visited! Highly recommended.

Had a lovely meal here for the first time today but certainly won't be the last. Super friendly service, great food and really good value for money. If you're local or just passing through call in for lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed.

Called in on a Friday lunchtime having checked opening hours by phone. Our first visit but certainly won't be our last. Friendly landlord who has got a chef producing great food. Lovely pub inside with easy parking at the rear.

We live locally and heard great feedback on the new owners and management of the pub, and it certainly lived up to the glowing reports. Great table in doggy friendly area lovely staff couldn't be more friendly. Lovely menu and daily specials. The Arancini was amazing!!

We went to a wedding at Burlton Manor just up the road, and the Inn welcomed us and let us check in early. It was a lovely stay and they even picked us up at the end of the night! Owner was very helpful and couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. Thoroughly recommend!
