I had nice vacay in Budapest and spent 3 nights at IntercityHotel. The location is good and the room is clean. I highly recommend this place.

I booked a room with a high floor city view online but they just gave me a room with low floor garden view. Therefore, I asked them to change the room with a city view for me. They assigned me to a low floor city view this time. I've already given up on the levels of the floor aiming to make everyone's life easier. However, I discovered that the door can't be locked and the sink drains really slow in a speed that is honestly unacceptable in my new room. I was really frustrated to go down to the reception to change a new room again. As a 4 star hotel, I'm absolutely disappointed that they didn't even have the intention to come up to my room and pass me a new room key with apologies but instead, they asked me to go down with all my luggages to pick up a new room key TWICE. Poor service attitude from the reception lady with a long blonde hair and big round eyes, naming "Cindy". The room is modern and spacious but the door lock can't function properly still. Plus, there're only TWO complimentary bottles of water per stay (no matter how long your stay is), so it's quite inconvenient that you need to buy the water in the lobby at a higher price or anywhere before you return to the hotel. The location of the hotel is good, there're bus, metro, fast food restaurants, Starbucks nearby with a very nice city landscape.

Fantastic hotel right by the main station. Very comfortable and warm rooms, modern and clean. We found the location to be perfect. Much more of a local people vibe but easily accessible to the touristy main attractions with the great transport links Budapest offers. We would return for sure

The room is clean and tidy. It is very nice and we would definitely come back. The staff is very thoughtful and kind.

We got our luggage delayed by the airline and the front desk was super helpful and helped us to call the airline company several times. The room is spacious and clean. The location is excellent and the view from the room is good too.

Nice hotel in front of the Central Station. Great for early trains. Breakfast was ok, but be ready to people crowd at the dining hall.

very very hot at night (closed everything but it is really hot that i cant sleep) except this everything is good comfortable bed clean and quiet

The Hotel is right at the city Centre just beside Budapest Keleti train station. Immediately I arrived at the train station from Vienna, I only had to cross the road to get to the hotel which I loved so much. The room is very spacious and very clean. TV stations are not in English for only English speakers and there is a Mall only 10-15mins walk away from the hotel where you can shop.

The room was compact but offered good value for the price. Its proximity to the train station is a significant advantage. However, there was a slight sewage-like odor in the room, which was a bit off-putting.

Nice hotel, ideal for my visit. Booked at last minute and was pleasantly surprised. Room was very clean, would recommend.

I stayed the hotel Every single time I came to Budapest . Just because a comfortable, clean hotel otherwise bit far from all attractions if you’re a traveller . Everything good there only I all the time wrote same things . The hotel need give some attention regard training the receptionist stuff .. threat peoples like they stay for free . Need bit soft , this is a hospitality jobs , who work the position they should know what they working and how to deal with customer.
