Hoteller med morgenmad i York

"Celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary at the Queen’s Hotel. Situated in a great place close to bars, restaurants and shops. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and they serve a good cold beer and wine at the bar!"

"Cleanliness and tidiness impressed me most. The reception service is brilliant and staff are always with smiling faces. I will suggest to my friends and family to stay in Holiday Inn York whenever they visit York."

"We stayed at the hotel for just one night, but it was exceptionally lovely. I loved the interiors, the rooms, and the location. It’s quiet, the neighbourhood is beautiful, and we’d be happy to recommend this place to others."

"I stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton York for a short visit and, while the location was reasonably convenient, the overall experience fell short of expectations for a Hilton-branded hotel. I was upgraded to a room located across the car park from the main building, accessed via stairs and without central heating. Instead, the room relied on standing portable heaters, which wasn’t ideal — especially given the wet weather and the need to walk outside to reach the room. The room itself felt quite tired and dated, with noticeably creaky floorboards both inside the room and from neighbouring rooms, which made it hard to fully relax. The location is decent enough, but if you’re travelling by public transport there are better areas of York to stay in that offer easier access and a nicer overall setting. I didn’t try the breakfast, as there are plenty of good local options nearby, which I enjoyed instead, so I don’t feel I missed out. One small disappointment was that coffee wasn’t available outside of breakfast hours. Overall, with so many good accommodation options in York, I’m not likely to stay here again."
