Very comfortable and beautifully presented motel style room attached to a private home. The lodge has private access, EV charging (either wall plug or small five-pin plug) is available, and the hosts are helpful and friendly. The room is well equipped, with air conditioning, easily accessible PowerPoints for charging, and has a comfortable bed with good pillows. A continental breakfast is also included with a range of options, and a vase of fresh roses was an added touch.

We have stayed many times at Benson House and Lodge. It is our go to accommodation when in Benalla. Ray is the perfect host. The House and Lodge are for 2 people, spotlessly clean, very quiet, very comfortable. A complimentary continental breakfast and tea and coffee facility is offered. Always welcomed with fresh flowers on the table and a chocolate or two. I highly recommend the accommodation. We will be back.

Benson house was one of the nicest places I have stayed at. From the arrival you feel at home, brekkie supplies, stunningly clean property. The bed was super comfy and the quiet was just what I needed. owner was available for any queries not a problem. I hope to stay here again one day and would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Perfect stopover on the trip to Melbourne. Pub, pizza and fish shops just a couple of hundred meters away. The Benalla art gallery is worth a visit. We stayed in the Lodge. Very comfortable. Appreciated muffins for breakfast. Best thing was the ability to charge our EV.

This is a great alternative to a motel. Self contained unit with its own courtyard garden. Fully refurbished so brand new bathroom and everything new. So many thoughtful touches like power board on bedside table for charging, a range of breakfast items and a table for two to eat at, heated towel rail, fresh milk and bread. Loved it all. Thanks Ray

We stayed at both the lodge and the house on a recent trip. Both were exceptional. Well set up, very clean with a comfortable bed, tea & coffee making facilities and a complimentary continental breakfast. The hosts were great and very helpful. We will stay again on our next trip to regional Victoria.

If you're travelling and stopping in Benalla then this place is a little gem of a find. The room was perfectly fitted out, super clean and cosy, the bed was amazing and all linen high quality. For me as a business traveller the best things was it was quiet (lovely old tree-lined street) and the room was dark overnight (no street lights contamination) for an uninterrupted sound sleep. Magic!! In addition there was a lovely little continental breakfast available with crumpets, cereals and coffee. Ray was the consummate host, available promptly when required and he did me a massive favour while I was there without a blink. Thank you Ray for a fantastic stay, I'd had a rough couple of days so it was a little oasis for the night. I will be recommending my employer makes you our new Benalla favourite!

We stayed here for 2 nights as a base while exploring the N.E. Silo Art Trail and Winton Wetlands and Benalla Street Art. It was a very comfortable and affordable place to stay. The free Netflix provided some great movie entertainment at night and the breakfast included was awesome (Sourdough muffins were the best!). It is only a short walk to the centre of town over the river. I would highly recommend Benson House to stay.
