Rista, og alle ansatte er hjælpsomme og venlige. Hjælper gerne på enhver måde, de kan. Calderaen er fuld af fantastisk natur og kan hjælpe med spørgsmål eller aktiviteter, gæster er interesserede i. Cheesecaken, lækker! Morgenmad (4 forskellige muligheder) Jeg kunne godt lide dem alle. Køkkenet laver i top! Barista 100% værelser har alt, hvad der er nødvendigt, hvis de ikke var blevet booket ud, ville jeg være blevet en 4. nat

The location is the best, the views from hotel are amazing. Thats it. These are good points. The hotel is dirty, need desperate maintenance and need to stock up with food and drinks. Water pressure in rooms is a joke. No shower screens or curtains, showers are dirty. The employee is washing kitchen utensils in bar kitchen sink in the morning. Not sure if they know about steam cleansing or not. Buildings have mould on them, swimming pool has developed algae. The management should improve!

The view and restaurant area is fabulous - giving a spectacular first impression. However the remainder of the hotel leaves a lot to be desired - it is shabby , desperately in need of renovation and felt extremely dirty . I was relieved to only stay one night .

The view from this hotel is outstanding. Absolutely lovely. However at dinner two items (that were on the menu) were not available Then when I tried to order a cocktail I was told that the only Spirits they had were whiskey and gin. Therefore nearly all of the cocktails on the list were unable to be made. I ordered a beer and when I went to order a second I was told that they had no more large beers! It is supposed to be the height of the season and yet this restaurant seem to be appallingly poorly stocked.

Awful customer service, waited over an hour for two breakfasts. No apology, no explanation. Then was laughed at when he approached staff, very poor service and treatmet. Left without paying for meal and would not recommend ever stopping here.

Based on Google reviews, I was worried about coming here. I am with the group Intrepid and I’m not sure why they have us stay here. The food is not good, the service is bad, and the rooms and lobby have the odor of portable toilets. They don’t have air conditioning NOR fans even. The towels are dirty and rooms all have a musky odor. I’m sure due to the lack of air flow and persistent rain there is a lot of mold based on the smell. I’m too afraid to examine anything closely. I don’t have anything good to say other than the view is good…. I’m sure it’s good at other establishments too.

I was travelling with a group. When we went to the dining room for dinner, a waitress literally ran around our table and removed the menus from our hands and replaced them with a menu that had exactly the same food at considerably higher prices. I had seen both menus earlier in the day when I was given the lower priced menu but then they tried to charge me the higher price when I was paying. Only good thing about the hotel is the view. The rooms are very run down and the water in the pool looks like it would kill you if you got in- it’s green!

The view is stunning of Mt Batur, but that’s about where the good finishes. There are a litany of problems that need to be fixed urgently. 1. Dirty sheets and towels - not acceptable 2. Black mould in the common spaces 3. Slippery dangerous floors 4. Water flowing from the ceiling into electrical outlets in the common areas. 5. Dirty common area toilets 6. Shower leaks over the floor creating a dangerous slippery situation 7. Cracks in the staircase to the lower levels. There are renovations happening, but all the above can be fixed without impacting the renovation. This place needs a lot of work.

Caldera hotel has Mt Batur as its backdrop. Large windows in room to maximise the experience. Room was basic but comfortable enough. Bathroom not well designed....no shower screen or curtain means theroom floods. Service at the restaurant was poor...menu items had extra ingredients that weren't listed and caused friend to react. Very slow service. Juices were fabulous.
