The area is known for good restaurants and friendly pubs, it is within easy reach of the Eden Project (45 minutes) and many other attractions, both natural and man-made that Cornwall has to offer. The bustling small town of Wadebridge is twenty minutes away, with its three supermarkets, interesting independent shops and the picturesque Camel Trail for cycling. Seaview is a local farm shop a mile away with cafe/bar and selling local farm produce and other delights, plus the best breakfasts.
