I loved spending time in the third-floor library, filled with cultural artifacts, games, and books – you'll never get bored! The hospitality from the hotel staff is also unmatched. I stayed alone but never felt lonely. They take guests on walks around the city to discover ******* culture. The Nirvana Resort features 12 stunning individual rustic chalets, all with breathtaking views on the surrounding grasslands. The Sky Bar is a rustic restaurant with the most amazing views imaginable of the surrounding grasslands. Built on a small hill and featuring large windows all around, one gets the feeling of floating in the sky while enjoying a delicious local meal paired with a wine, liqueur or other drink of your choice.
"We stayed three nights at Nirvana Resort in early July and loved our time there. Spectacular location, the grasslands are alive with flowers and birds, and everyone at Nirvana was kind and helpful. We had our own car (ideal if possible) and alongside visiting Labrang Monastery and walking in the nearby hills, we also enjoyed driving around the backroads into Qinghai and immersing ourselves in the landscape. At the end of each day it was perfect to climb the hill to the Sky Bar and drink a beer while watching the land grow dark."
