This comfortable cottage has three bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of 6 people. Two double size bedrooms have a queen size bed while the third bedroom has two single beds. All beds have electric blankets for those cold winter nights. All bedding including clean sheets, quilts and doonas and bath towels provided to guests.There is one main bathroom in the house which has large shower, toilet and basin. Please bring your own toiletries, such as soaps and shampoos.An extra toilet and shower located in the outside laundry. Kitchen is fully functional with crockery and cutlery provided. Property has a dishwasher. Reverse cycle air conditioner for both heating and cooling in the main living/dinning area. Pedestal fans for cooling are also available in each bedroom. Lampe House has a carport with ample parking. There is an outdoor table and chairs on the patio . There is a brick BBQ/firepit in the backyard with a limited supply of firewood. The backyard is enclosed and safe for children and pets.Tumut is the major town closest to Talbingo. Tumut is a lovely town to visit for the day. Tumut also has everything you need in case you have forgotten to bring something with you. The Talbingo supermarket has closed so supplies are limited. There is a coffee shop that supplies some items but otherwise it is wise to make sure you bring everything you need.Telstra 4G service only in Talbingo area, always check coverage with your mobile phone provider. There is currently NO WiFi at our property. You will enjoy the surrounding natural environment and iconic Australian native wildlife. You might even receive a visit from Talbingo's peacocks. On clear nights the sky is filled with stars perfect for stargazing.Enjoy waterski on Blowering or Talbingo Dams, enjoy a short bushwalk to Mill Creek Falls in Talbingo itself or extended bushwalks within the Kosciuszko National Park. Mountain bike trails are also popular. Talbingo Dam has a lovely picnic and swimming area for when it gets too hot. Or take a dip in Jounama Creek.Ski or just enjoy the snow at Selwyn Ski Resort. Explore the nearby towns of Adelong or Tumbarumba. The property has great views of the mountains and views of Jounama Dam from the rear deck.The property backs onto Park land and has rear access for boats or other vehicles.Kosciuszko Lodge is only a few minutes walk from any of Talbingo's amenities including, children's playground, park, sporting oval, Country Club, golf course, tennis courts, Talbingo Lodge Restaurant, supermarket and service station. The lounge room has a large SMARTTV. Comfortable seating throughout and a reverse cycle split system air-conditioning unit are present. The kitchen at present is more than adequate. Two fridges are present, microwave, electric stove and a Nespresso Coffee Machine.All three bedrooms have been newly renovated and contain built in wardrobes and ceiling fans. Bedroom 2 and 3 have Split System Air-Conditioning Units. Electric blankets and bedding (excluding sheets and towels) have been provided for your convenience.
