Dubai Hotels with Balkoner

Everything is perfect, food, waterpark, boat trip, beach, room… so regretting not to stay for one more night!!

My husband and I had our first holiday as a family of three with our 7 month old baby at Voco Dubai The Palm Hotel. We chose this hotel as it had a private beach (we didn’t want to spend time travelling to a beach each day), was located away from the chaos of Dubai, offered a king size bed (I cosleep with my baby), and there was an option for including breakfast (again did not want to spend time searching for or travelling to a breakfast location with a baby). Compared to other surrounding hotels, it is a relatively small and new hotel. However, this only enhanced our positive experience as it added a more personal touch. The valets (sorry I didn’t catch their names!) took our car down to the car park while other members of staff took our luggage to our room. Diana at the front desk was the first team member we met inside and made us feel very welcome. Our room was very spacious and clean. Thank you to Arun Gawam from Housekeeping! We enjoyed our coffee pods and Biscoff biscuits provided after each thorough clean. Some reviews mentioned noise but we only heard some drilling upstairs during the day and some music outside on Friday and Saturday night. Neither of these bothered us or our baby. The breakfast buffet was amazing and had plenty of choice with some of the options changing on each day so we had some variety. The welcoming, dynamic staff knew our tea and coffee orders from day one and always greeted us with smiles. We were asked daily if we wanted our eggs cooked in a certain way. This was great because our baby is just getting started on solids. Our baby girl loved seeing all the hardworking, smiley members of staff waving at her every morning. I would particularly like to thank Rojean, Rashmi and Aldrin as well as Fasha, Shiela, Juliet, Dioseth, Anu, Marion, Fhaizan, Amin, Chef Prabin, Chef James, Chef Anyu, Ariz, Sun and Puja. The private beach was a highlight of our holiday. We loved the easy and quick access to the beach with bottles of water and beach towels provided upon arrival. The cabanas were great for privacy as I had to breastfeed my baby on the beach. The WiFi was hit and miss on the beach but I guess that helped us relax more. Thank you to Bidan, Chamodi and Roni for taking care of us there! The only downside for me was the lack of power socket to plug the hairdryer in the bathroom or next to the mirror in front of the bathroom or by the mirror in front of the desk. We had to plug the hairdryer in the socket by the bed and therefore had to dry our hair on the bed, which wasn’t a major issue, just an inconvenience and a little loud right next to our baby. Overall, it was a great holiday experience thanks to each and every member of staff!

Dette er et af de smukke hoteller at bo i Dubai. Beliggenhed: Det er et flydende hotel. Værelser: Prøv at få værelse med havudsigt. Det er smukt. Vi boede i superior værelse. Vinduerne kunne åbnes 😃. Classic er også god, mindre og kan ikke åbne vindue. Værelserne holdes pæne og rene. Over al stemning: Det gamle britiske klassiske præg af et krydstogtskib bibeholdes. Det har et lille museum, der minder gæster om hendes herlighed. Morgenmaden er god. Der er en guidet tur på skibet to gange om dagen. Bemærk: Tandbørstesæt og barbersæt vil ikke være tilgængelige i rummet. Men roomservice kan give dig efter anmodning. Rejser til hotellet kan kun ske i bil, men er ikke ubelejligt. Prøv caféer omkring hotellet. Det er fantastisk!
