B&B Cascina Bricchetto

This was a spectacular country home! The location was central to everything in the Piemonte area and offered beautiful views of the vineyard-covered valleys. The home was beautifully furnished and comfortable. There are many windows in the house and the views were stunning. There were a couple of outdoor spots on the property where we had lunch, cocktail hour or just enjoyed the sunsets and the scenery. Our hostess, Giovanna, went out of her way to make our entire stay very enjoyable. Before we arrived, she asked about our preferences for wine tastings and restaurants. She then sent us suggestions in different categories. When we chose what we wanted, she made the reservations. By the time we arrived, she had printed out an itinerary of everything she had booked. Giovanna lives next door and it was a pleasure to get to know her. We would recommend this stay to couples or to families. We were lucky to have found this location.

sono stato una notte presso la cascina Bricchetto con mia moglie e non posso dire di essermi trovato male, ma posso dire che è una sistemazione adatta per una notte, ma non di più.. La camera era abbastanza spaziosa e dall'atmosfera "rurale" in senso positivo, peccato che alcuni arredi erano davvero vecchi e trasandati. La pulizia non è il massimo: alcune ragnatele, un pò di polvere quà e là, insomma la stanza meriterebbe una bella rinfrescata; Bagno pulito e abbastanza confortevole se si esclude la doccia "fissa", una cosa che non si vede dagli anni '60.. Nonostante l'atmosfera sia tranquilla e rilassata, dalla camera si sente comunque il continuo rumore delle macchine della vicinissima autostrada, ma di notte si è dormito bene grazie anche al materasso morbido e confortevole. Nota di grande merito all'accoglienza della proprietaria, davvero gentile e che ci fa sentire immediatamente a casa dandoci acqua in quantità e apparecchiandoci la tavola per il nostro frugale pranzo, davvero carinissima. Posizione strategicamente eccellente perchè la cascina si trova vicinissima all'uscita autostradale di Asti Est. Colazione diciamo cosi "alla buona", con niente di fresco ma con buona scelta di merendine confezionate, latte, caffè e yoghurt. Concludendo, la stanza sarebbe da 2 pallini ma la squisita accoglienza della proprietaria mi spinge a dare 3 pallini, e a consigliare la sistemazione se siete di passaggio per una notte in zona.
