Tulip of Amsterdam

I really loved this hotel. The atmosphere and the location are PERFECT, but the best part is the service from hotel owners. They were very helpful and it was so easy to communicate with them. If I ever come back, I would definitely choose this hotel again!

The room, services,and location were amazing. The hotel was in walkable distance to food and activities. David and Chris had lots of good recommendations of activities. Also very professional. The room and hotel were very clean and neat.

My husband and I didn’t Europe trip for our anniversary and out of the 4 places we stayed, this one was definitely the best. It felt like home, and it was super convenient to walk everywhere in Amsterdam. My favorite part was the little details the hosts put in making this a unique place to stay. From their “in case you forgot box” to their detail to our anniversary. I would definitely go back and stay here. 10/10 recommend.

This sweet and homey hotel, only 2 beautiful rooms, exceeded our expectations! From the first detail to the last, everything is planned with the at most attention. The atmosphere is so authenthic, the lighting, the narrow stairs, the clean smell of wood, it all ads up to the exprience. In these warmly furnished rooms, we found treats and products you might need when staying away from home, constant hot water, super comfortable bed, coffee machine and more. The room smells good and so clean (there's a cleaner every day) and whats amazing is that its right in the center! Best location ever, close to everything. Last but not least are the hosts, David and Chris, who are just incredibley kind people, who would go out of their way to see you are well and happy. We really couldnt ask for more!

A typical Amsterdam House, Tulip of Amsterdam only has 2 rooms to stay in, and both are up very narrow winding stairs. However this is typical of these old houses and adds to the authenticity. The door was somewhat hidden and we did walk past it the first time, but Chris met us at the door, welcomed us in and even carried my bag up to our room. The room itself is lovely, with exposed beams and you can imagine a Dutch family living here back in the 1600s. What really makes this stand out though is the host, Chris, who is so friendly, full of suggestions and recommendations of where to go and what to see. Our room was cleaned daily and the fridge restocked with fruit juice, Dutch beer and some snacks too. The location is right in the heart of the centrum so a very short walk to restaurants etc. I recommend Papa Carlos next door which did a lovely pizza when we were too footsore to wander any further for dinner.

The location is definitely the best place in amsterdam. You reach it after taking 20 steps after getting off the metro. the rooms are large, spacious and very clean. I had a friendly welcome.very thoughtful treats available. If you are going to Amsterdam, I would definitely consider Tulip Of Amsterdam. Special thanks to Chris and David
