      Track flooding and bridge damage disrupts routes between Liskeard and Looe

      Relaterede oplysninger:The line between Liskeard and Looe remains closed following a period of recent heavy rain which flooded the track. The heavy rainfall, combined with high tides, have resulted in the water levels at several bridges along the line being above the level which allows for trains to run safely. Investigations took place once the water levels receded, and the results of the investigations have confirmed some damage that will require repair work. This will need to be carried out before the line can be reopened and trains are able to run again. No trains will operate between Liskeard and Looe. Rail replacement transport will run as stated below. Currently, trains are not expected to run on this route until at least start of service on Tuesday 11 February. Customer advice: Replacement minibuses will operate at train departure times from Liskeard and Looe. The designated stops for the replacement road transport are as follows: Liskeard - at the front of the station. Sandplace - bus stops by the station entrance. Looe - at the front of the station. If you are travelling to / from St Keyne Wishing Well Halt or Causeland please call Great Western Railway customer services on 0345 700 0125, or use the station help point for taxis to be arranged.

      Storm flooding impacts routes between Exeter St Davids and Okehampton / Barnstaple

      Relaterede oplysninger:Recent adverse weather as a result of Storm Chandra has caused flooding between Exeter St Davids and Barnstaple / Okehampton. This has closed all lines running between these stations. This means that trains are unable to operate, and have been cancelled. Disruption is expected to continue until Monday 16 February. Customer advice: The flood water still has not yet receded between Exeter St Davids and Okehampton / Barnstaple, and much of the surrounding area is under water. A limited return coach service is in operation between Exeter St Davids and Barnstaple, and also between Exeter St Davids and Okehampton. This service will be a full sized coach with limited seating. Roadworks on the A377 in the Eggesford area today may cause rail replacement services to be delayed. Please check online journey planners for the timings of the the rail replacement services. Ticket acceptance: To further assist you with your journey, your ticket can be used at no extra cost on the following Stagecoach bus routes: 5 between Exeter Central (New North Road), Newton St Cyres (Belluno) and Crediton (Station Cross). 5A Exeter (bus station), Newton St Cyres (Belluno), Crediton, Copplestone, Okehampton. 5B between Exeter (bus station), Newton St Cyres (Belluno), Crediton, Copplestone, Morchard Road and Barnstaple. 5C between Exeter (bus station), Newton St Cyres (Belluno), Crediton, Copplestone, Morchard Road and Lapford. 66 Exeter (bus station), Exeter St Davids station, St Thomas railway station, Pathfinder Village, Tedburn St Mary Garage, Cheriton Cross, Good Knight Inn, Whiddon Down Post Inn, Sticklepath Devonshire Inn, Okehampton Fore Street Arcade, Okehampton railway station. If you wish to drive to Tiverton Parkway, you may use your ticket at no extra cost on Great Western Railway services between Tiverton Parkway and Exeter St Davids, in both directions.

      Heavy rain imposes emergency speed restrictions on various routes in Scotland

      Relaterede oplysninger:Blanket emergency speed restrictions are being imposed due to heavy rain on the following routes: Glasgow Queen Street / Edinburgh / Montrose to Aberdeen. Edinburgh to Leven / Perth / Dundee. Montrose to Iverurie. Trains running on the above routes may be cancelled, delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised. Disruption is currently expected until 08:30 on Thursday 12 February. ScotRail customer advice: Rail replacement transport has been requested as follows: 2 buses for Aberdeen (operated by RS Coaches) from 08:30. 1 bus at Montrose (operated by RS Coaches) from 09:00. 1 bus at Perth on standby (operated by Merlin Travel) from11:00. 1 bus at Dundee on standby (operated by Merlin Travel) from 11:00. You can use your ticket, at no additional cost, on ScotRail services via any alternative route to your destination. If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.

      Overhead wires damage impacts routes between London St Pancras International and Luton Airport Parkway

      Relaterede oplysninger:Damage to the overhead electrical wires at Elstree & Borehamwood means some lines are disrupted. As a result, trains running between London St Pancras International and Luton Airport Parkway may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised. We expect this disruption to continue until 14:00. East Midlands Railway customer advice: What has happened? There is damage to the overhead electrical wires at Elstree. This is between London St Pancras and Luton and is disrupting our trains on the London St Pancras International / Nottingham / Sheffield and London St Pancras International / Luton Airport Parkway / Corby route. Network Rail are on site, investigating the problem. How does this affect my train? At present, services on the Connect route will be withdrawn and Intercity services are expected to run with delays of up to 20 minutes. East Midlands Railway expect the problem to be fixed and trains to run as advertised in the next 90 minutes. How do I get where I need to be? You should continue to travel as originally planned however your journey may be delayed or altered by up to 30 minutes. East Midlands Railway have arranged for your tickets to be used at no extra cost with Thameslink between London St Pancras International and Bedford, in both directions. Please be aware that Thameslink will also be affected by this problem. East Midlands Railway are looking into stopping their Intercity services additionally at Luton Airport Parkway, Bedford and Wellingbourough. Once this has been confirmed, these will be added to the live journey planners. East Midlands Railway will be running a shuttle service between Kettering and Corby in both directions. You can change at Kettering for connections to the south. Thameslink customer advice: The overhead wires are damaged in the Elstree & Borehamwood area, disrupting Thameslink and East Midlands Railway services. Because of this issue, fewer lines than usual are open between West Hampstead Thameslink and St Albans City. Trains may be delayed by up to 15-30 minutes in the area, and there will be a number of service changes and cancellations. Please check online journey planning tools, and when travelling, listen to announcements and check station screens. If there is a long wait until the next train, you may wish to consider using an alternative route, even though this may also take longer than usual. Your Thameslink ticket will be accepted at no extra cost on: East Midlands Railway services, where available, between Bedford, Luton, Luton Airport Parkway and London St Pancras International. London Northwestern Railway services between: Bedford and Bletchley. St Albans Abbey (a 25 minute walk from St Albans City) and Watford Junction. Bletchley, Watford Junction and London Euston (these trains do have some unrelated disruption). London Buses serving stations between the Elstree area, Central London, Sutton and Wimbledon. London Underground services across London on any reasonable route. Southern services on any reasonable route to and from London Bridge or London Victoria, including routes via Sutton, and via East Croydon, Redhill and Gatwick Airport. Gatwick Express services between London Victoria, Gatwick Airport, Haywards Heath and Brighton. Planning your journey: You can see a live map of the Thameslink network. This will show where your journey is likely to be affected. You can also use the Thameslink app to find up-to-date information. Can you tell me more about the incident?
