My friends and I had a wonderful experience in the forbidden city! Our tour guide, Dan, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the forbidden city with many fascinating stories to tell. We were worried we wouldn’t find our tour guide within the sea of people when first meeting up but we found him very easily with the instructions given to us the day before. Everything was very well organised and the tour went smoothly. I was very impressed with the Dan’s history knowledge, from the roof tops down to the floor tiles, everything had history to it. Our tour guide was also very interactive with us, making the experience more fun and lively. Overall I really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it!! ⭐️

Séverine is very professional, her directions to the meeting point were crystal clear, she is very attentive, and she anticipates her clients' needs. She speaks perfect French and has a deep understanding of Chinese civilization, which she conveys with great clarity. The tour impressed us with the richness of the monuments and the details provided by Séverine, which brought them to life. This was a shared tour itinerary; it was just the two of us plus one family of three. -7:10 The driver picked us up from the hotel, and we set off to watch the sunrise. -8:00-8:30 Spruce Meadow Cableway -Blue Moon Valley to -12:00-12:30 Glacier Cableway -16:45-17:00 Return train. We were very satisfied with the itinerary. Tickets for the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Glacier Cableway are extremely difficult to get, but this tour included both cableway and train tickets. The driver was very steady; he only took us to Ganhaizi for the sunrise, then to the visitor center, and then we were on our own. The person in charge frequently checked on us via WeChat, asking if the driver had picked us up, if we had arrived at the Spruce Meadow Cableway, and reminding us of the Glacier Cableway boarding and alighting times. Very thoughtful. We missed the return train because there were too many people getting off the cable car, but it was okay; we just took a Didi (ride-hailing service) back to the hotel. Highly recommended.
