Extremely disappointing and unpleasant service by the front desk staffs.
After a long day of being in the tourist area, we wanted to check in to our room and rest. The process of giving the right room to us took around 40 minutes to 1 hour.
We booked building 2 which we walked up the slope with our luggage and when we arrived in our room, the wrong room type was assigned to us.
We booked a double bed meaning it has only 1 bed, but we got allocated 2 single bed. We told the staffs about it, and they were part timers and they called their manager / front desk.
The manager in the front desk was very rude and telecast to help. He insisted that what we booked for (double bed) means 2 single bed. He did not even try to understand or try to check if their system has error or something.
Despite being very tired, we had to stand throughout in the room and had to prove to him that, for all the bookings we made, double bed =1 bed and we even showed him the booking details and pictures we made under trip.com. He did not believe and said that the hotel had full occupancy when I asked him if there is anything he can do. No proper customer service from the front desk / the manger himself.
After a good 40 minutes to 1 hour, I managed to google and proved to him that double bed =1 bed and then he had nothing to refute and we were then told to return to the front desk with our 2 big luggage and by going down the slope again.
Manager did not apologise for this situation throughout this whole commotion and thereafter only said is their system error and they have upgraded us.
I thought the hotel had full occupancy but suddbely there were rooms available and he mentioned a few times that they are doing this upgrade for us when is their mistake from the very start.
Really very disappointing experience and no service recovery nor service from the 2 managers that were in the front desk that day. We only wanted a good rest and this is what happened due to their system error. (Part timer said that before our arrival, another guest have problems checking in also due to their system fault).
Will never return nor recommend to anyone. (We checked in late (got our room very late) and we checked out very very early too for this price paid with unpleasant encounter.)
