Police was raiding apartments without a warrant because allegedly someone made some stains on an entry carpet and the walls. They came aggressively banging on the door and forcefully entered my apartment. Then there were blood stains on the duvet. I discovered them when I did the laundry and removed the bed sheet. It is impossible to lock yourself from the inside in these apartments. The door locks in these apartments have dormitory or exit lock function, which means they can be unlocked from the outside even if you have locked yourself with a key from the inside. On top of that, there’s a large gap between the floor and the bottom of the door, so you can’t use a door stopper either. The staff entered my apartment multiple times without a warning and without my permission. All the reviews about the noise are true. These expensive serviced apartments have no sound isolation whatsoever. Walls are paper thin. Every single night someone was hitting walls, stomping, and slamming doors. Customer service was unable to help because the minute they showed up the noise would stop. There was also frequent unannounced drilling noise. I complained and argued with them about the noise endlessly, but to no avail. And then there were very strange, if not crazy, neighbours. One lady accused me of working for CIA, because I was wearing sunglasses and a face mask. She went as far as calling someone and telling someone on the phone that I ‘was just standing there and working for CIA’. Sometimes there was trash and dirt in the hallway that no one took care of.
