6th stay and still in love with Casa Arcoiris! Located above Playa la Ropa, easy access to beach via taxi or short walk, but away from all the street noise, and with an awesome view. Rooms comfortable and well appointed, great pool, delicious breakfast( different option each day). And Hosts Humberto and Jesus are the best! They offer suggestions for activities and dining, make reservations, call taxis and solve problems! We have already booked rooms for 2026/ stay #7!

Wonderful hospitality! The room was large and comfortable with great amenities, and the view over the bay was gorgeous. Very nice home-cooked breakfast.

Just stayed one night, beautiful views, adults only and my husband loved his omelette that was served in the morning . said it was the best he has had in years. Would stay again

This was our fourth visit, and was just as wonderful as our previous stays. They have expanded since we were there 15 months ago, but the place is still cozy. Lots of stairs makes for good exercise. Close to La Ropa beach, but having to walk up the hill to get back from the beach makes for an excellent view and also peace and quiet. Humberto and Jesus are excellent hosts, welcoming, helpful and enjoyable to be around. And the breakfasts that are included are definitely the icing on the cake! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Zihuatanejo,

Just completed our fifth visit to Casa Arcoiris. Would not want to stay anywhere else when visiting Zihua. Wonderful hosts, charming accommodations, delicious breakfasts and a quiet location. Added bonus: Humberto was able to rescue my wallet when I left it in a cab!!!

An impeccable and welcoming hotel with an easy 5 star rating (especially based on price point) Possibly a new favorite place to stay in Zihuatanejo. Secure, safe, quiet, Excellent breakfast, good view from the pool... Perhaps most importantly, is how warmly you are received by Humberto and Jesus. They are earnest in how well your stay goes.
Look no further. This hotel awaits you.

Where to start. Friendly hosts with helpful suggestions. Nice outdoor areas. Clean. Delicious breakfast. Attractive room. Wonderful bed. Little kitchen with everything you need to make a meal. Quiet. Easy 10 minute walk to the beach/restaurants. Love it.

Casa Arcoiris is a truly fabulous find. It's just a short walk to Playa Ropa, which is arguably the best beach in Zihuatanejo; it's small, friendly, and quiet; the rooms are wonderful; and the breakfasts are muy delicioso. The owners couldn't be any nicer or more accommodating. The views from the various porches are beautiful - especially the sunsets, the two pools are big plus, and the B&B is just a stroll to lots of very good restaurants and beach clubs. I stayed in the Iguana room, which was quite large and with a great outdoor kitchen that had everything I needed - fridge, coffee maker, cook top, dishes and cookware. The porch, which had a view of the bay, was also very large and had two lounge chairs as well as an outdoor table and chairs. I hated to leave, especially because I fell in love with the house cat, Tomás. This is one of those rare finds that make it hard to ever stay anywhere else.

Fantastic view from the expanded terrace. Comfortably appointed. Useful kitchenette. Close to La Ropa, but wonderfully away from the tourist buzz. Five-minute walk to the mercado collectivo. Or, a short taxi ride into town. We liked it so much that we came back a second time and are planning our third. Can't beat the hospitality. Humberto is second to none as a host. There if you need him, inconspicuous if you don't. Reserve, if you can. (But don't take our dates!)
