Fanbowan Riverview Boutique Hotel (Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain)

The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were very nice and spacious and the staff were so lovely. We even had delicious afternoon tea there, got a late check out and spent time in the beautifully decorated seating area. The staff ordered us a taxi for free to the airport too! Unfortunately, our room had a terrible smoke smell when turning on the A/C even though we booked a non smoking room. We told the staff about this but the rooms were fully booked so we could not move. They did help a bit by providing room spray but we had to leave the A/C off and keep the windows open the entire time and it was uncomfortably hot. Wish I could write a more positive review because the staff were so kind but the smell of smoke is unacceptable to me when booking a non smoking room.

A great hotel with friendly and helpful staff and good rooms. The afternoon tea was lovely and the view from the dining/open area was great. The laundry service was very helpful. We stayed in one of the "sunshine rooms" that apparently had a mountain view, unfortunately it didn't. The carpet of the room was also rather dirty/stained. Other than that, it was a great stay!

Entering the building seems worried about the hotel condition, but after reaching the floor and seeing the hotel rooms, looks quite good.

Clean room, easy check in, helpful personnel, convenient location

I loved my stay at this hotel. The service of the staff is excellent. Even though I don‘t speak Chinese we were able to communicate with each other with my translation app. They also helped me with figuring out where to go to see the Avatar Mountains and Tianmen Mountain. The breakfast is a combination of buffet style with a meal. It was very delicious and the view from the breakfast area is breathtaking. The bed was very comfortable and cozy with the pillows.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during my visit to Zhangjiajie, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. This is a fantastic place to stay if you want to explore Zhangjiajie. The location is convenient for accessing all the main attractions, making it an ideal base for sightseeing. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and exceptional service provided by the staff. They are exceptionally friendly, supportive, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions. Their dedication to customer satisfaction truly sets this hotel apart. The hotel itself is modern and the rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, this hotel offers everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I look forward to returning on my next trip to Zhangjiajie.
