We loved staying here - the couple who manage it are incredibly helpful and friendly, helping us book tickets and taxis. They couldn't have been kinder. The location is great for visiting the village and seeing the mountains. The room was clean, had a heater (important for December) and modern.

The owner is very friendly and very helpful with lots of useful information. Great location with a rural feel and away from the tourists yet really close to everything still. Great room very comfortable.

We had a great stay at Rememberance. The place was recommended by our friends who have stayed there. The place is located near Wulingyuan centre. The restaurants and shops are nearby. Our room has a view of the mountains. The hosts provided excellent service and helped with bookings the ticket packages and advising on the route to see and do. The place is comfortable and clean.

We really enjoyed our stay at this guesthouse. It’s foreigner friendly and the owners are extremely helpful. They sent us to and fro the East Gate entrance of the national forest park (just 5 mins drive away), helped us with planning the places we want to go, booked the tickets for us at a discounted rate and recommended local food places. Indeed a 5* rating worthy guesthouse! The room is very spacious and has a huge rack for all our clothes. Our room did not have a dining table, just a small table underneath the tv but they have ample dining space at the ground floor which worked out well for our food delivery orders when we were too tired to eat out. There’s also lots of food options and massage parlours right outside the guesthouse, the road that leads in is well-lit and convenient. They have maps for all the nearby attractions and discounted tickets.

I liked my stay there, it was amazing🤩 Big room with nice river view 💦 Location is good for visiting park and canyon⛰️ The hotel was very helpful, helped to organize visiting attractions (tickets, comfortable bus). Free brought by car to park, helped to organize taxi to hotel and send my baggage with it 🚖 🎟️ I arrived few days later then expected due to weather and hotel agreed to change dates. The shop is on the corner. Felt like home here 🐈 , you can communicate with hotel using WeChat. I miss it, suggest staying there👍👍

This is the place to be if you want to visit ZJJ national park!! The stay is just outside the park. It is owned and run by the most lovely couple who will help plan your trip perfectly based on your itinerary and buy the type of tickets you need for local price. They have alot of experience and insights of the area that you won’t find online. The husband even gave us a lift to the national park in the morning when i insisted i could just get a didi. The rooms were very clean and tidy. 10/10. They really made our time in zjj special.👏👏🫶🫶 (ps they have a cat named eleven, pictured)

This place was fantastic. It it run by the loveliest family (with a cute cate that they adopted). They helped me with absolutely everything, from the itinerary, to driving me from and to the park, helping me find the correct local bus back home and so on. The room was as advertised, with great views in a quiet neighborhood. My favorite memory is spending hours talking with the hostess one evening, drinking their homemade tee, using translation tools to communicate. I crushed on a cute girl in a jewelry chop and it was great to have somebody to talk to :D I promised I'd come back and I intend to stay in the same place when I do.

I couldn’t ask for a better place! A lovely family ran business with amazing location and smart, clean rooms. Upon arrival I was already greeted with tea and the owner with her son offering to plan my trip for me. As I am a solo traveller I spent a lot of time with the family who always invited me for tea and food. The owner was very accommodating from planning the trips to the mountains, to buying tickets, booking taxis and she would even offer to drop you off at the entrance to the park every morning. I would consider this place over any other hotel. It will definitely make you want to come back again!

The host and her family is amazing!! They were so welcoming and helped us plan our routes for the national park. They even brought us to the gate. The location is convenient and just a street away theres many restaurants and small stores. I recommend this place :)

I had an outstanding stay here in Wulingyuan for four nights! The boss and her husband are incredibly helpful and friendly, they helped me figuring out where to go in the Zhangjiajie park and also drove me to the entrance of the park and bus station. They also arranged a ride to the Grand Canyon for a cheap price. I stayed for one extra night as I wanted to explore the park a bit further. As I left I forgot my (other) glasses there but they messaged me on WeChat and as I was in Zhangjiajie center they arranged to deliver my glasses for me for free! I must say this was definitely the best accommodation I’ve had in China during a bit over month that I’ve been here now. The place itself was also splendid, it was modern, well-kept and clean. Hard to think of any possible cons since I didn’t encounter any during my stay.

Amazing accommodation!! Great room with beautiful view, so comfortable and big. The owners are so friendly and helpful. They booked for us to go to town men mountain and Zhangiajie national park ( close from the accommodation). They drove us to the gate for free. They invited tea every afternoon ♥️ so lovely!! We had a very nice experience staying with them. We recommended this place 100%. Thank you for everything 🫶🫶

Such a lovely hotel and an amazing room, really great to unwind at the end of the day in ZJJ. The couple who run the place are so kind, they gave us loads of information and we really appreciated the shuttle to the park every morning. I really recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this accommodation in mid-December, and it was an outstanding experience. The place is very clean and modernly furnished. Even in winter, the room could be comfortably heated with the air conditioning. The bathroom was also spotless. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. They helped me plan an amazing tour, which was absolutely breathtaking. Additionally, they offer a free laundry service, which was incredibly convenient. On my first day, the host even gave me a free ride to the Eastgate, which was such a nice gesture. The location of the accommodation is excellent. The host recommended a local restaurant where I ended up eating four times—it was that good! The food there was amazing, and many locals also dine there, which is always a great sign. All in all, I give this place 5 stars. I can’t recommend it highly enough and would stay here again without hesitation!
