Excellent hotel, the owners help in everything, the room clean and well located

Thoughtful, clean and excellent location: we visited during winter and when we arrived at 6 the night, the lovely owner lady had already heated the room in advance for us. We were even upgraded to a larger room due to it being quiet season. The rooms are neat and clean, has a kettle and water is restocked every day. The best part of this place is it's location. A leisurely walk of about 15 minutes to the east entrance of the national forest park. If you catch a Didi from there it's about 57 minutes to Tianmen Mountain. And the Charming Xiangxi Grand Theater (a MUST see) is around the corner and up the road, barely a 10 minute walk. All in all a fantastic place to stay with a very friendly, helpful and kind host. 🩷

Highly recommended!! The lady owner was very friendly and service was amazing! She would accomodate to all our needs and the complimentary breakfast she prepared was delicious as well!! (My friends and I mainly had the chinese food but there were other options as well e.g. milk, coffee, bread). Rooms were clean and amenities were as advertised. She also helped with any questions on travelling through Zhangjiajie as well has arranging a taxi to our next destination. The location is also close to the east gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. We had a very comfortable stay and would love to return when we have the chance.

Very good stay at the Hotel. It was a quaint hotel run by an adorable and very hospitable couple. Service is great and the hotel is near the East gate of the park. Highly recommended! Thank you for the great stay!

Good little hotel, managed by husband and wife team with a helper. Everything looks new and clean. Small but nicely furnished. Owners very friendly and helpful. Simple Chinese buffet breakfast but coffee, toast bread with butter and jam also provided. Free laundry area on rooftop. Good location. Can walk to Eastern gate in 15-20 minutes, about 1.3km. Good value for money.

Despite being a smaller establishment, the hotel maintains impeccable cleanliness throughout. What truly sets this place apart is the personal touch. The owners (husband and wife) went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. When we arrived late for breakfast at 9 AM (usual hours 7-8:30 AM), they graciously prepared fresh meals for us without hesitation. Their extensive knowledge of Zhangjiajie was invaluable - they took time to explain the local attractions and provided clear guidance for our exploration. As we checked out, they surprised us with complimentary snacks for our journey - a thoughtful gesture that perfectly exemplifies their attentive service. While the hotel may be modest in size, it's big on warmth and genuine care for guests. The owners treat you like family, making this an ideal base for exploring Zhangjiajie. If you're looking for a clean, welcoming hotel with hosts who truly care about your experience, Wuling Shanshui Hotel is the perfect choice. This is great a hotel! About 10min walk from the main entrance to the Avatar park. Lady at the desk helped to buy tickets to the park( it was cheaper thru her then official at the park gate. Everything worked. Our passports were the tickets) breakfast is simple, but enough to start the day. Rooms are clean. When checking out we received gifts (snack and red envelope)) There is a laundry room on the top floor which was very very useful! Especially after hours of hiking! Laundry soap for free. Lady at the desk and her husband were very helpful. They even let us take a shower at lobby bathroom even though we checked out. I was very glad that we chose this hotel over others because the friendly kind atmosphere. Very good warm memories forever in my heart. Thank you!!!

The lady owner was very friendly and helpful. They cleaned your room and replaced the towels every day. Neat place. They served simple breakfast and gave us snacks. It was mooncake festival when we stayed there so we were offered mooncakes. Location was good. Walking distance to the Forest Park East Gate entrance.

Clean and comfortable inn with a Nice owner. You can purchase zjj park and other attractions from the owner for a better price. Try the BBQ beside this inn at nice. Is fantastic

We had a very pleasant stay here at this hotel, the rooms are very comfortable, even with the tatami beds we felt that it was cozy and the bed was spacious for 2 person to roll around. The rooms are clean and had all necessities, they even provided welcome snacks and drink for us when we arrived, and gave us a bag of extra snacks when we left! There’s a laundry washing machine for free available on the top floor. The staff were very nice and friendly, they ensured that we have everything we need and made us feel very welcome. I saw her patiently using a translator app to help non-Chinese speaking foreigners too. The location is just nice 10mins walk from the bus station, and about 15-20mins walk to the entrance of the park. We would had loved to stay longer if we can! Super recommended++

simple and nice breakfast, would be good if the menu alternates. no mountain view even though it shows mountain view.. there are a few shops below the hotel, but is located abit at the far end of a street. free washing machine available, free snacks and fruits in room, good service. generally a good stay

Nice, quite place for rest after long hiking track. Amazing administration, she is care about every guest, and did everything for comfor everyone. Hotel has free laundry service, delicious Chinese breakfast, and amazing local tea in hall. Location is close to bus station, shops, restaurants and enter to the National Park. I really like that place.

A good and simple place to stay! It’s located fairly near (1.5km) to the East gate of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which only cost 6 yuan for a Didi ride. The lady owner was very friendly and she will love to help anything you need! Rooms were clean and amenities were nice, though if you are a big (or fat) person, the shower room might be small for you. Breakfast was also nicely prepared. Buns, porridge, noodles, cereal, hard-boiled eggs, drinks etc. For the price we paid, this place is highly recommended.

This was the perfect place to stay when exploring Zhangjiajie - the host was lovely and used a translator device to make our check in process easy!
