Manyuan Resort Hotel

Ms Peng Yi from the hotel is an excellent staff, when I’m in Singapore, I called her many times to ask her to book entrance tickets as she can get discount for us for all the attractions. And when I arrived, she explained everything in details for me, saving me a lot of time researching. Breakfast is good, excellent location. Can’t ask for more

Place is convenient to the East Gate entrance of Forest Park. Negative is the bathtub water not hot at all. Breakfast is average.

It’s our first trip to Hunan and Zhangjiajie is the first place we long to explore. We have put up two nights in the hotel. Our room has a lovely view of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park which is within walking distance from the hotel and a stream where you could see residents washing their clothes as the water flows. Staff at front desk are professional, friendly and dedicated in their services. Special thanks to Mdm Peng who helps us to pre-book our tickets, giving us the best tips in exploring the park and went all the way out to think of ways in retrieving my bag which was left in a didi car.  There are many accommodation options in Zhangjiajie but I am glad that Manyuan Resort Hotel is my pick and it will be an excellent choice always!! 我们一行三人首次到湖南旅游的第一站-张家界。 这儿有很多酒店住宿，来之前做了许多搜索。 很高兴我做了个最好的选择，即曼缘度假酒店。 每个早晨，阳光轻洒阳台，面对森林山脉，看着附近的居民在河岸洗衣裳，好疗愈☺️ 这里有着亲切和善的前台服务员，随时关注房客的需求。我们尤其高兴能认识这里的管家，彭女士。每晚回酒店，她会给我们建议拟好第二天的张家界国家森林公园行程，有助于我们在限有的时间里，欣赏到最佳的景点。除此，她也帮忙我们预定入门票以及安排导游服务。更要感谢她在我落下包包在出租车上时毫不犹豫地给予协助。 住在这儿，给了我一种回家的感觉, 希望更多的游客也能来亲身体验😊

This hotel has amazing service! When planning our trip to Zhangjiajie National Park, we chose this hotel for two reasons: close proximity to park entrance, and stellar reviews of their highly personable service. The hotel is indeed very close to the park entrance. Each day we walked 10mins to the entrance. This is convenient, especially after a long day of walking. There are a few local cuisine restaurants along the same street as the hotel, good for a quick meal. But best of all, is their service. 晓晓 / Xiaoxiao and her colleagues were incredibly helpful. Even before reaching China (weeks in advance), she had reached out to me to find out if I needed help arranging tickets and itinerary. Once we arrived, she had the tickets ready, and helped to plan each day for us - to ensure that we made the best of the good weather window, and efficient use of our limited time. We covered a lot of ground thanks to the front counter team. They are very familiar with the park, and were very accurate in the timing estimates. I need to make a special mention to 晓晓, who accompanied my mother to the hospital. My mother accidentally fell down, and hurt herself. 晓晓 helped to translate and process all the paperwork (including insurance - which is included in the park tickets she bought for us). When it was time for us to go, they helped to arrange transport, and even helped us arrange additional sightseeing itinerary. For anyone who plans to visit Zhangjiajie without a guide, I highly recommend this hotel. They make travelling this park, self-guided, very easy.

Our stay at Manyuan exceeded expectations. Every staff member we met was thoughtful and kind, and Xiaoxiao (晓晓) stood out as a true miracle worker. She took the time to address our concerns, even late at night, due to our tricky itinerary. Her incredible service made all the difference in our experience. We initially chose Manyuan for its clean, spacious rooms with a tub, as well as benefits like itinerary planning, a complimentary foot bath, and breakfast. We were relieved and impressed to find all these—and much more. Upon our late-night arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find a plate of fresh fruit prepared in our room. The hotel even provided more upon request, which helped tide us over until breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, the selection featured plenty of delicious Chinese options. My wife and I especially enjoyed the tasty yogurt, and I appreciated the easy-to-use coffee machine, fragrant tea, and simple yet satisfying cakes and dumplings. Thete weee plenty of other choices, too. Xiaoxiao also made our park visits effortless by booking our tickets in advance. Thanks to her help, all we had to do was scan our passports or use facial recognition to enter the attractions. After a long day exploring Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the complimentary foot bath was a welcome treat—we simply had to boil water, add provided herbal pouches, and a basin made it easy to enjoy a relaxing soak. When we encountered an unexpected emergency, Xiaoxiao was incredibly understanding and responsive, once again demonstrating her dedication and professionalism. She even helped us with our Lantern Festival itinerary that would take place after we'd checked out. She acknowledged weather considerations and even road closures ahead of providing her recommendations. Her wide yet humble knowledge of the area deeply moved us. Even the small details at Manyuan, like the delicious front desk candies and complimentary luggage storage, added to our enjoyment. We are deeply grateful for such a warm and accommodating experience and highly recommend Manyuan to future travelers.

The staff is very friendly and upgraded us to a vip room with a bathtub in the balcony. Is surprising not cold when you are in the hot tub although is in the open with curtain to close it. The hotel is very good located near the east gate to enter the zhangjiajie national forest park where avatar movie is filmed here. Other entrance gates are located elsewhere and need to take taxi to there if you have bought the 4 days admission ticket. Near the theatre location also
