This is probably the best stay I’ve had in awhile, the staff are all extremely helpful with itinerary suggestions, and they also provide some savings with ticket bookings (alike other reviews mentioned). On top of that, the staff were constantly meticulous and attention to our needs, while out and about we ran into issues as non-chinese citizens, they response rate via wechat was almost always instant. Additionally, since we also do not have chinese phone numbers, we were limited from many online functions such as ordering food or contacting delivery personnels, the 客栈 employees were all willing to help with the contacting to rush for our parcels, and we were allowed to use their numbers to order food in. Extremely pleasant stay, and extremely satisfied. Only downside being that the breakfast spread was the same every single day, but it is still a sufficient amount of variety, by the second morning you would know exactly what you would grab. Recommending the hot soy milk with jam on toast, and their scallion oil (?) bread buns! Laundry can be done for free (on your own) but there is no dryer, hanging the apparels on the roof’s drying racks dries the clothes much more quickly. Rooms are clean with no issue, very nice.

The hotel is well located for the avatar mountain and the Grand Canyon. The staff is so friendly and they help us with everything (information, bus, taxi for the airport...). You can do your laundry, and the room has all the amenities that you need. The breakfast is ok, and they have a pool ! I highly recommend it ! 😁

I’ve been here last year and it was amazing, this year I came again and we were welcomed with same warmth as last time, the staff was so friendly, helpful and nice, I haven’t been anywhere better than this. The rooms are clean and nice, the breakfast is delicious, those people went beyond expectations to make us feel as comfortable as possible. They also helped us booking all the tickets to every attraction and gave us tips on how to travel around. You don’t need a guide, they will help you find your way around . 10/10!!! I wish everywhere could get this kind of hospitality. And the language wasn’t a problem, their gadget can translate to any language

I had a great time staying in this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff and the room was clean. I liked the breakfast and the location was perfect, near to everything you’ll need. highly recommend

Far away from Hks park , unfortunately the swimming pool was dirty , but it’s nice and a location is good

The hotel is very nice. It's a short walk to the Zhangjiajie West Entrance (around 20 minutes). Restaurants are just around the corner (less than 5 minutes walk). The staff is very nice. The rooms and hotel is very clean and has charm. The breakfast is very Chinese. The coffee for free is sweet, solvable powder. If you want a good, real coffee, you have to pay extra. I ended up with toast and egg. If you eat savory for breakfast, you'll find more choices. The blinds in the roof of the rooms for the star view were broken. In both rooms. There is a super chilly roof terrace. Don't miss it!

One of the best service in our China trip. Tong Peng, the front desk man is the best and goes out of his way to help arrange for the trip and drive us around with reasonable fee. He’s very patient explaining things via Google translate App. The man who help in the. Breakfast room also is very nice and kind. Location is steps away from the restaurants row and 20 min walk to the Eastgate of Zhangjiajie National Park.  I definitely recommend this hotel

The inn was convenient to the entrance of the national park. The staff were helpful but I did go with a Chinese friend so that meant there wasn't a problem with the language. It was pretty clean. The toilet area was small but it was ok.

I’ve been solo traveling for the past month, and this has been the most enjoyable stay so far. I’m an ABC from New York with limited conversational mandarin. Both the female and male receptionists were incredibly friendly and helpful. They assisted me in creating my itinerary for the next three days in Zhanjiajie and even offered to help me purchase entrance tickets to the parks. The male receptionist was particularly kind and made me an Americano every morning, as I mentioned that I drink two to three cups of coffee daily back home. The hotel is centrally located, with the night market just around the corner. There are numerous shops and food stalls to satisfy any cravings you may have. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the East Gate or a 30-minute bus ride to the South Gate. My room was spacious and had a balcony facing the street. It was also a great bonus that the hotel had a gym equipped with dumbbells, a barbell, and a pull-up bar. It’s important to stay active and burn off some calories, right? Unfortunately, the hotel only had washing machines but no dryers. So, I had to hang my clothes on the rooftop, which had a designated area for drying clothes with plenty of sunlight. That’s when I discovered the true gem of this hotel—a rooftop with a breathtaking panoramic view of Wulingyuan. During my stay, I also had the pleasure of meeting the hotel owner. He and his family reside on the third floor, where he spends his days tending to the gardens and cooking for his family. He was very friendly and shared that he had opened the hotel 15 years ago. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay. You’ll have just as enjoyable a time as I did!

The two men who work at this hotel were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast soup was delicious! A must try. The room was a good size and was comfortable, however it could have done with so thorough cleaning. The pool was a great way to wind down after a long day of walking in the heat!! All in all a lovely stay.
