Convenient location next to the bus terminal and close to the National Park East Gate! There is also a snack street around the corner. The owner of the hotel is extremely nice and helpful with planning the trips to the national park! The room is spacious but the noises of the street woke me up every morning around 7… However, I would highly recommend staying here!

A great stay for the price point! Pros: The inn is very convenient foreigners as the receptionist speaks fluent English. They can help to book attraction tickets (at a small discount) and can help to plan or recommend routes that are suitable for you. They can also arrange to send your luggage to the train station if needed (own expense). They reply quickly via WeChat to any questions you may have, so that was convenient. For travellers who are coming from the High Speed Rail Station, the inn is located down the road to a bus station with buses that connect to the airport, zhangjiajie city, and the train stations. Talking the bus is much cheaper than getting a taxi since the Wulingyuan area is a 30minute drive from the high speed rail station (zhangjiajie west station). There are also many eateries within the vicinity of the inn. True to the description, the inn is a 10 minute walk to the entrance of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (east gate). Amenities provided in the room are true to the description. An additional surprise is the bed heating function. It made the bed extra cozy during the cold months. Cons: The inn does not have a lift, so it might not be suitable for those with mobility problems. While there’s a washing machine, there is no dryer (there is a clothes drying region to air dry your clothes).

Absolutely incredible experience. I have recommended this hotel to friends and family who also want to visit ZhangJiaJie. The room was super roomy and the bathroom was very very nice. Great water pressure and lots of options with a hand held shower head or a rainfall shower head. We always came back to a clean room with new towels and water bottles. No smoke smell either. Also, it’s in a super convenient location where you can walk to the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in 15 minutes. It’s super safe and we didn’t have any problems with transport. It’s also a 2 minute walk from the bus station if you need to take the bus to downtown Zhangjiajie. The views are absolutely stunning everywhere you look. The restaurants nearby are also incredible. I’d highly recommend MaoShi Characteristic Cai Restaurant for the best service and the best Hunan food. We went back every night for dinner. Other than that, the staff are super accommodating and wonderful. The lady who is at the front desk in the day time is super talented with languages and can explain things to you in English if needed. She also hand drew and guided me with a map with all the things to do in the National Forest Park that we used religiously throughout our trip. She also gave us insane discounts for the entry tickets to get into the park and also for Tianmen Mountain. She is the most wonderful and kind person we met throughout our time in all of China and we cannot recommend this hotel enough. At night, there’s a family that runs the front desk who are also super kind. Every time we had leftovers, we were able to place our food into a fridge and microwave it when we wanted to continue eating. Additionally, if we ever needed rain jackets or umbrellas they were kind enough to lend them to us without cost. Lastly, for a late night treat, the convenience store that is right next to the hotel is perfect to grab a quick snack or ice-cream to end the night!
