Resort is beautiful and with very big room. Owner is friendly and give a lot of advices to move around and food to eat in WuLingYuan. Highly recommended 👍🏻

We had one of the rooms on top of the building. We can really recommend this hotel and this room. The view is very beautiful. The service is top. One of the owners speeks English very well. The gave us great tips how to visit the Zhangjiajie National Forest park. I made so much investigation in advanced how to visit the park. But it was no need, because they explain you on a map where are the best places in the park and how to get there (every day, according to the time which you have and the weather condition).

Very nice clean rooms, no smoke smell and has an excellent location for your morning coffee, bakery or supermarket needs. More importantly you have Richard there to help you with all your needs and he speaks English very well too. If you need laundry , they have 2 washer and a dryer too. Would definitely stay there again as this area is a lot cleaner n Tian Men Shan cable car area.

We enjoyed our 5-night stay at this well-located hotel in Wulingyuan. It served as an ideal base for exploring both Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Tianmen Mountain. The location couldn't have been better—just a short walk to the park entrance and surrounded by plenty of great local dining options. Being right on the scenic footpath along the stream added to the charm. The hotel manager was exceptionally helpful, offering valuable tips for our visit—and to our delight, spoke flawless English, which made everything even easier. We also appreciated the convenient self-service laundry area, which was well set up and very useful during our extended stay. We stayed in the top-floor room, which came with a large patio and a nice view. While it was enjoyable, if we return, we’d probably opt for a standard room with a balcony. The so-called “pool” isn’t really a pool, so paying extra for that amenity isn’t worth it. A few areas for improvement: the top-floor room would really benefit from a fridge and some comfortable seating—after a long day of hiking, a sofa would’ve been much appreciated. The extra space in the room felt a bit underutilized, just an empty area with a hard floor. That said, the bathroom was excellent—the shower had great pressure, generous space, and multiple spray settings. The bed and linens were comfortable, though we did find the pillows too large for our taste. Overall, a great stay and a hotel we’d recommend—especially for its unbeatable location and helpful staff.

Perfect stay. -  Lovely and well appointed room - Beautiful location on the river with the sound of a small waterfall as a backdrop. The balcony was the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the stunning sights nearby. - Very easy access to the East Gate of the National Park. - Lots of shops and restaurants on the doorstep - The host provided very helpful and informative advice about visiting the sights.  - Laundry facilities

Great hotel, with beautiful rooms and view. Hot water and comfortable beds. The receptionist speaks english and he gave us all the info to go to the park and arranged a taxi for us. He was really helpful! Great stay! :)

We got two rooms here. Both were huge with comfortable beds and furniture. Well appointed, clean, and in great condition. Location is about 20 minutes stroll from the east gate past a pretty riverside area and a nice municipal park. Lots of restaurants and shops close by too. Staff were indeed helpful with planning the journey through the national park. I had done some research of what we wanted to do and they tailored their recommendations to my ideas. Then they booked all our tickets for us, saving time at the gate. Definitely recommend staying here!

Excellent place for family to stay, helpful receptionist (owners). Look for 柴先生， he gives good suggestion to travel around in the National Park (Wu Ling Yuan).

Amazing place. Location is Just 10 minutes from East Gate of Zhangjiajie Park. Easy to take taxi if you dont want to walk. Very clean. One of the guy in reception speak perfect english. Help us with pick up from railway station and everything else we need through ours 4 night stay. Add him on wechat before arriving, and he will do anything for you. From booking ticket and planning of which route of Zhangjiajie Park. TRUST me, this guy is amazing. We will recommend to all friends about this place, and hope we can come back one day.

The staff were really friendly and super helpful. We only had one day in zjj, the staff at check in organised everything for us to ensure we had the best whistle stop tour of zjj in that short time. The room had river view and was good standard. Would highly recommend.

This is a great hotel and located in the middle of town. It’s a short 15 minute walk to the east gate of the national park.

The inn owner is friendly and extremely helpful. The room is spacious and beautifully decorated. Love the morning view and the stream in front of the inn is a lovely place for a walk. Non spicy food restaurant, bakery, fruit stall etc are just a few minutes away.

Excellent little hotel! The owners of the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly (They speak good English and Cantonese). The communication with them were very easy and straight forward via WeChat, they gave us lots of advices and tips on how best to visit the parks, and they have also helped us to buy our tickets which saved us a lot of time. The room was very clean with everything we need, it is close to many restaurants and small stores where you can buy bakery, fruits and drinks. It's about 10mins walk to the east entrance of the Forest Park, the walk along the river was nice and enjoyable. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who plan to visit the Forest Park.

One of the best stay i've ever had. The service was amazing! The hotel picked up from the train station and waited for us as we had some ticket issue to settle. never complained or so accommodating. any questions they will try their best to answer you. Even i needed a cable for my ear buds, they will try to get it for us. They made our 2 nights in Feng Huang so easy and they treated us like family. Amazing service! Thank you!
