Was blessed to get to stay here for two nights in early August 2024 in a suite overlooking the picturesque Zermatt village and church. From the moment of arrival, I was pampered, spoiled, and taken the finest care of until the second I departed in a special hailed taxi to the train station. I definitely rank this the very best hotel property I have ever stayed in around the world. It is the staff that really makes this property special. They value making unforgettable memories for every single guest. This hotel had been on my bucket list for many years. Earlier this year, I obtained a long awaited and hard earned promotion. The staff of Omnia made note of this from my first e-mail correspondence to them, and had a special letter of congratulations and bottle of champagne awaiting me in my room upon arrival. Special thanks to Esther who rolled out the red carpet as I arrived and helped me plan my time well in Zermatt, to Phillip who welcomed me with drinks and got me a coveted dinner dining reservation close by for some lovely cheese fondue, to Till who always inquired about me and answered all my questions, and especially to Diana at breakfast whose service was unparalleled and unmatched on every single need or request to start a lovely day. The sheer kindness and professionalism of every single staff member was unlike any I have ever received anywhere. All of your worries, fears are left behind you here, and you can truly relax in their incredible spa, pool, fitness center, library, and outdoor lounge facing the majestic Matterhorn. I also appreciate the manager Christian welcoming me and following up post-visit to ensure everything in my stay was top-notch. It was quite warm during my time here, and the rooms do not have air conditioning. However, they brought me a fantastic large standing fan into the bedroom that felt heavenly with the natural Zermatt air blowing in behind it. It was almost as if they had created "customized" air conditioning just for you. Housekeeping was absolutely incredible throughout my stay with two visits daily. Loved the turndown service with the Swiss chocolate by the bed and the automatic room shades that go down. The shower, bathroom, and bathtub were all well appointed with the finest of amenities. The outdoor balcony was like right out of fairy tale with this beautiful town of Zermatt laying right below you. I will truly never forget watching the sun set and the lights come on from my suite, "Room H." I would love to return and see it all at Christmas with the snow on the ground. The room numbers use letters here, and they ask that you turn in your key before leaving. This is another charming touch that allows them to check in on you and offer more service. I just loved the secret cave entrace to reach the lobby via an elevator and the lovely, little mountain walking path you could use as an alternative. We stayed here on our last weekend in Switzerland. We planned our entire itinerary for the trip around making sure we could stay in the Matterhorn Suite at the Omnia and do not regret it. Priced extremely reasonably, this was one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in. It's very well sized and the view was unparalleled. The hotel service was exceptional. They pick you up from the train station in a neat little electric van and take you right to their cave entrance. It's so interesting. Then you are provided a complimentary cocktail on their terrace overlooking the Matterhorn. It's an amazing view. The hotel itself is so architecturally unique. It is multiple levels and multiple elevators. A bit confusing at first but it adds to the charm. The restaurant food offerings were top tier as was the complimentary breakfast. Worth sticking around to eat. They were excellent with my son's allergy and my other sons birthday. We arrived to birthday balloons, sweets and stuffed animals. The kids were thrilled. The pool area is as amazing as advertised. We didn't get to use the spa treatments but heard good things. The saunas were excellent. Really this hotel is worth the money if you are in the Zermatt area. The staff deserve awards for how good they are with dealing with any question or request. They were so kind and helpful. Everyone also spoke English very well. In particular, we got a full 15 min explanation of recommendation for the area from one of the service managers at breakfast. He was so kind and helpful explaining his own experience in Zermatt and what he thought was worth money in traveling the area mountains particularly with kids. You must stay here and we recommend the money spent on the Matterhorn rooms.

We travelled around Switzerland for about 10 days before we arrived in Zermatt and checked into the lovely Omnia Hotel. It was exactly what we needed! We were picked up promptly at the train station and had the most memorable underground arrival to the hotel. We were greeted with a tour of the facility and welcome drinks on the terrace and our first siting of the Matterhorn. Our corner suite was spacious and was perfect for giving us room to relax after several days of traveling. We enjoyed the outdoor activities during the day but could not wait to get back to the hotel to enjoy the pool, gym and drinks. The staff was incredibly attentive and kind, welcoming to our daughter who was traveling with us and ensured a level of attention that we’ve never experienced before in any hotel. Breakfast was so good and health conscious and not something to miss! The view from our room was spectacular. We checked out this morning with a personal send off by reception and the manager, fresh water, granola bars and chocolates. Cannot wait to come back again!

The Omnia was absolutely phenomenal - from the moment we stepped in, the staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming. The luxurious rooms were impeccably clean, with stunning views of the Matterhorn and the high-quality amenities added an extra touch of elegance. The on-site restaurant provided exquisite dining experiences with a diverse menu and impeccable service. This is our second time staying here and will not be our last. If you’re coming to Zermatt you will be blown away from this hotel and staff. Overall, a truly unforgettable 5-star experience.

The Omnia is a breathtaking hotel overlooking Zermatt. It is unsurpassed in its workforce, service, design, food, attention to detail, warmth, cleanliness, cheer and ability to charm. It is a wonderful feeling to finish the day skiing and come back to the Bahnhofstrasse and take an elevator through the mountainside to arrive at this awesome hotel overlooking the village of Zermatt. The people at The Omnia welcome you back with a smile, a cheer and an offer to assist with whatever one may need, which is how they send you off in the morning when you are going to the slopes (or hiking too). In all areas, the people who work at The Omnia provide absolute 5 star service and they do it with warmth, sincerity, enthusiasm, and skill. You would think each person has an ownership interest in the hotel because they care about their service that much and because they do it with genuineness and a Swiss touch and, or course, precision. The rooms are beautiful, heightened with design yet warm, and the hotel is a stunning example of function and form and architectural greatness with a Swiss flair. The hotel is also a wonderful example of being of scale. The food is exceptional. Whether it is breakfast or dinner, the quality of the meals and presentation are truly excellent. The Chef and Pastry Chef are as talented as any chef and pastry chef anywhere, in any hotel or at any restaurant in any city the world over. This is not an exaggeration, and my wife and I love food and make it a special part of our travels. The kitchen could be dropped in Paris or New York and diners would think they are having food from the very best Chef and Pastry Chef in either city. And we say that based on experience. This is our fifth time staying at The Omnia and we have already made our reservations for next year. We cannot say enough about The Omnia and all if its parts. It easily competes with any of the absolute best hotels in any locations in the world, from any city, to any seaside, to any mountain villages, to anywhere in between. Plus, the prices are far more reasonable! Do not hesitate - go top Zermatt and stay at The Omnia. You might never go anywhere else.

I had a such great experience at Omnia. This is one of the hotels where you get an outstanding customer service from the pick up to the drop off at the train station. Staff is very attentive to any request you have and it makes a perfect vacation. Hotel is so stylish. Breakfast is very DELICIOUS!!!! Pool and sauna areas are so clean. Views from the room and hotel grounds are amazing. You didn't want to leave this place. PROS: Select a room with the high floor

Absolutely the highlight of our entire Switzerland adventure was The Omnia! The suite itself was tastefully designed and very comfortable. The facilities were top notch; the steam room/sauna experience is not to be missed. The location worked perfectly for our needs. Most importantly, the service is where The Omnia shined - absolutely impeccable. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to eat at their acclaimed restaurant. Ultimately, that was one of our biggest regrets of the trip. Cannot recommend this place enough!

This hotel was the best customer experience ever!!!! From being greeted personally by the manager Christian with welcome drinks of sparkling wine to our suite that literally was jaw dropping. The attention to detail included a full telescope to observe the beautiful scenery including the Matterhorn. The staff was professional and friendly and answered all our questions and provided us with 2 recommendations for great meals. The breakfast buffet offered many choices including local cheeses. On our way out the door Christian again personally bid us a goodbye. Such an amazing place and in the heart of Zermatt village so easy to get anywhere. If you are in the Zermatt area, I highly recommend this hotel!!!!
