We stayed at Hotel Seehoff for two nights in September. The hotel is located only minutes from the train station and across the road from the lake. The rooms are very comfortable, we had a balcony overlooking the lake, beautiful views. The train tracks are directly in front of the hotel, they pass several times an hour. The noise from the train was not very loud, did not bother our group. Upon check-in, we received a complimentary Zell am See pass. This allowed us free access to any public transportation as well as a ride on the riverboat cruise. The free pass was easily worth over $100 euros per person. The breakfast was lovely, with plenty of options for everyone.

We stayed here for a week. A fantastic hotel that sits just by the lake. We had a room at the back overlooking the mountain which was great. The room was cosy and clean with everything you needed. Breakfast had everything you needed. Hot options, continental, pastries, cakes and a wide selection of hot drinks. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is extremely close to the promenade for the boats that go around the lake. It is near to the station and bus stop. We took a train to Salzburg which is approximately 1:40 hours. It only cost us €19 return. We also went to Kitzbühel. The town of zell am see has many restaurants and cafes. There is also a cable car up the mountain with lovely walks around the mountain. We loved our time here and will hopefully return.

Everything was perfect, location, room, and staff. Simply we love this place. Also, I would like to give special thanks to Avalin (if I said her name correctly) she was so nice and kind to us. She gives us advice on where to spend time in Zell am see. Train sound gives nice background for the leak view.

We just returned from a week's stay over the February half-term with our family and friends (4 adults, 4 teenagers and a tween). We booked it through Crystal Ski so we were not sure what to expect but had a fantastic experience. The hotel staff couldn't have made us more welcome - from the initial greeting to the very end. This really made our trip. The hotel itself is perfectly located, in town and next to the lake and the rooms are clean, tidy and nicely decorated. The bar and restaurant are lovely, with very attentive staff and a great breakfast. I couldn't fault it.

Absolutely. This smallish hotel is run by very friendly welcoming staff who do everything they can to satisfy any special requests. We stayed on a B&B basis however dinner is an option that you can choose should you wish. Breakfast is plentiful with an excellent selection of hot and cold options served in a modern room with views of the lake. The hotel bar is large enough that you can sit and have a quiet drink or join in with others talking through your skiing exploits. Being located beside the lake means that it is less than 10 minutes walk (in ski boots) to the City Express, through the centre of the town therefore giving you the option of stopping for an après ski drink on the way back. The only minor drawback is that the bedrooms facing the lake have the railway tracks between them and the water which might make light sleepers opt for a room facing the other way. This hotel was perfect for our ski trip, being our first visit to this beautiful town, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when we next visit.

A lovely little hotel with a family run feel to it the staff are great and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Me and my partner are returning guests as we enjoyed it so much the previous year on our ski holiday, the breakfast is also perfect and the rooms adequately sized, but well equipped with a comfy bed.

I highly recommend Hotel Seehof during summer. We stayed for a week. The view of the lake and mountains are fantastic. Amazing to wake up to each morning. It was lovely to sit on balcony in the evening after a day of exploring the region with a glass of wine and watch easy activity on the lake. Our hotel room was very homely and had everything we needed. It was spotless clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely, not imposing and were very helpful . Everything was super relaxed. We had our own car park space also so we could come and go as we pleased. It's about 2 minute walk to the train station too if we wanted to avail of the public transport. The trains did pass quite a lot but it didn't bother us, we just didn't keep the windows open at night. It was just certain trains that were noisy and one particular night that they seemed to pass a lot. I did use the ear plugs provided. If we are ever back in Austria again, we will definitely stay. Zell am See and Austria itself has so much to see and offer. What a beautiful country.

What an incredible experience staying at Hotel Seehof as a first time skier. The family run hotel is located close to the ski slope, restaurants, and night life around Zell am See. The owners are warm and inviting, and extremely knowledgeable about the area. They truly made this first time experience unforgettable. Thank you for everything. See you soon.

We stayed here for one night. The staff is really friendly. We had a room with a balcony with a great view of the lake and mountains. The breakfest is good with a great variation of fresh food. They have a parking at front. I would surely recommend this.
