What a truly amazing place Kopano Lodge is, set right beside a watering hole, stunning design blending in with the surrounding environment whilst offering true luxury to your guests - every detail and possible need was thought about and covered, and the whole team looked after us so well, none of us wanted to leave. Our biggest thank you goes to our guide for our stay - Mike. Such a passion and knowledge about every animal and bird ensured that we all fell totally in love with Madikwe and all plan to return as soon as we can

Just returned home from 4 days at Madikwe safari lodge, 3 generations with 2 children aged 8 & 6. Wow! What a wonderful place, such a beautiful location , top quality accommodation, and the quality & choice of food was exceptional . The game viewing was brilliant, not quite the quantity of game that you get in Kruger area, but plenty to see and the professionalism & talent of our wonderful guide Nell , made sure we had a great selection of sightings & experiences. The staff at the lodge were all fabulous, particularly like to mention Maureen & Jonathan, but every single staff member was efficient, friendly & courteous. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them & It was a joy to be with them. We created memories to last a lifetime. Thank you Madikwe lodge. Feel privileged to have been there.

I had been recommended Lepala Lodge by a friend and it was the most superb holiday from start to finish. I was there on my own with two boys aged 11 and 13 and we all agreed it was our best ever holiday. The staff were incredible and we were made to feel part of a family immediately. Our guide Aubrey collected us from the air strip and we were transported to a magical adventure. (The Federal airlines flight was extremely professional and well run but the small plane is not for the anxious flyer!). The game drives were exceptional and we could have all kept doing them for weeks but only had four nights. Every day there was something different and there was such a fabulous and varied food choice - from a crumpet stop in the bush to a BOMA family style bbq with singing - always a surprise and very welcome. The kids were totally engaged throughout the whole stay and didn’t even argue for the whole week!! We saw so much game and were able to get so close without causing issues to the animals it was very well managed. Overall Aubrey our guide was fabulous, Junior, Rebecca, Rhona were great and Kelsey and Byron organised and took us on a truly fantastic adventure to take professional photographs- managed in a way that even my boys didn’t mind! The only thing I would do would be to take more warm clothes and not bother with swimming stuff as the pool was freezing in the winter!
