Center Parcs Zandvoort Beach

This place was much better than we expected. It's a quick walk to the beach and waterfront restaurants. The accommodations were great. It was extremely easy to check in and out. We could not have been happier. The only thing i would mention is if someone had mobility issues, they might not do great using the stairs to the bedrooms.

Stayed in September in a lodge. Kitchen and living room area brilliant, think the rooms were basic and lacked space. For us the location was brilliant. So close to the beach and a 30 min train journey to Amsterdam. 10 min train to Haarlem. You feel like you are not just trapped in the parc like you are in English ones. Zandvoort town was lovely too. I thought the free €30 gift voucher for activity or gift shop was generous. Pool was fab and soft play. Perhaps not as many activities as UK but it doesn’t matter as so closed to nice towns. Didn’t like the fact you had to pay for towels though

Do not stay here. It's dirty and outdated and old. VIP accommodation was dirty and mouldy. Couldn't use most of the perks staff just said it's expected due to date of things. Similar to a previous reviewer the plumbing in the house was faulty, upon arrival the sauna and jacuzzi smelt of stale water and it filled the whole house. Maintenance came said nothing they could do Cleaners were sent once I complained again and they came fast and sprayed cleaning product, but they should have put us in a different home, and more fundamentally address the issue. As they had to come back the next day and do it again, by the end of 7 days the plumbing in the whole house was awful. Service was terrible, we had a Dutch card explaining coeliac and cross contamination but each time we were given gluten. Swimming pool was dirty and never saw anyone cleaning it despite sending several hours in there. Changing rooms were old and there was a dirty nappy left for two days under a seat in changing rooms. Wheelchair accessible chair for swimming was mouldy and broken. The outdoor pool was supposed to be heated but it was always quite cold. Virtually no staff. We rented bikes but they were so old and rusty, staff were lovely but she was on her own. I'm 5 foot and no bike was small enough for me, was very disappointing. There is only two washing machines for the whole complex and it's not advertised. Pavements and walk ways were cracked and damaged.
