Karras Hotel

Stayed at karras 7 days late August with family. Over all it was not two bad . Bad points first. Is tht breakfast food was lots fried foods tin fruits same foods every day on cold counter. Recommend more fresh fruits dates yogurts make it more exciting after all first impressions count chilled water not look warm water. Change the orange juice it's very bad plus waiting staff need training asp smile 😊 wood help Bed rooms cleaned every day no problem good big room . But bathroom looked very tired and a very bad smell . Good points house keeping staff very warm and friendly . Receptionist very professional in every way no problems and helpful. Restaurants manager friendly helpful good morning everyday tht I was there the over all was good but don't think it's a 4 Star yet need up there game.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Laganas, Zakynthos, for 15 days, and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. If you're considering booking this place, save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. Our terrible experience began the moment we arrived. We parked our car in front of the hotel entrance to unload our bags, thinking it was a reasonable spot. Within five minutes, someone from the reception—not the person checking us in—started yelling at us to move the car to the opposite parking lot. Not a great first impression. Upon entering our room, it was clear that it hadn't been vacuumed in years. There were hairs everywhere, dust covering every surface, and the curtains were so dirty that touching them was out of the question. It felt like no one had cleaned the room in a very long time. The breakfast room was the most horrifying place I've ever been in. Hospitals are luxurious in comparison. For 15 days, the same stale food was served, and I seriously doubt they replaced it daily. The waitstaff acted like they were being forced to be there, especially the blonde lady who didn't crack a smile in 15 days. She was always glued to her phone, and when I asked her for something as simple as sugar (which was missing for two days), she snorted and took ten minutes to bring it. Worse still, all the glasses and plates smelled like rotten eggs, making it impossible to enjoy the already unappetizing food. The low point was when we witnessed a waiter kicking a knife across the floor in front of guests—completely unacceptable. Towels were only changed after repeated requests at the reception. Despite staying for 15 days, our sheets were only changed once after we complained. The shower was disgusting, with mold everywhere, and the water smelled so bad that it was unbearable to stand under it for the first ten minutes. The cherry on top was the elderly lady at reception, who didn't even know which island we were on. When we asked her about the nearest beach within walking distance, she told us, "We don't go out at this time, it's too hot, and I don't know the city, so I can't help you." How can a 4-star hotel provide such an awful level of service? I have no idea how this hotel has 4 stars. Even giving it 1 star feels generous. Do yourself a favor—keep your money and find somewhere else to stay. This place is a disaster.

DO NOT GO THERE !!! THEY STEAL YOUR THINGS AND MONEY !!!!! Me and friends booked this hotel through a package holiday , when we arrived everything was okay until 2-3 days in when I realised I had 300€ cash taken from me !!!! My friend had 100€ taken from her , all of our suitcases were rummaged through and things started to go missing !! We also spoke to other girls from the hotel and the same thing was happening to them and when we complained they tried saying it was us stealing eachothers money !! Ridiculous! We made a complaint and they did nothing about it . WARNING DONT STAY HERE YOU WILL BE ROBBED

Avoid this hotel! I have just returned from a short stay in the Karras hotel and came back highly disappointed. It is far from a 4-star hotel. Firstly, upon arrival I entered my room to a horrible sewage smell. There was also a used cotton bud on the desk. Bedding had stains on them and were not changed for the 5 days I stayed there. Food was AWFUL - very limited, no choice, cold, and tasteless. I lived off bread for the most part! The photos on the website are nothing like the reality. AVOID!!!

The standard of the hotel is more 3 star, definitely not 4. At the front of the hall we were greeted by a huge mold on the wall. The room was good, a huge plus for the daily cleaning, the only problem for us was the air conditioning which had a musty smell. The breakfasts are tasty but zero variety, for 7 days we had the same products to choose from. A huge minus for the tiny selection of fresh fruits (only bananas, apples and sometimes watermelon), a pity not to use the potential of this region. As for dinners, the region's potential has not been exploited here either. Not once for dinner there were Greek dishes, I think it is worth thinking about the idea of Greek evenings once a week. The dishes were often cold, even though we showed up for dinner right after the start. Some dishes were overcooked or dry by keeping them in the oven for too long. Pool very nice, clean. Balls and swim rings were prepared for guests. The service was very nice and the drinks at the bar were delicious.

My wife and I have just returned from 2 excellent weeks at the Karrass Hotel. Our first room was noisy from the music played by the pool and we were changed to a quiet room the next day, The two girls on reception, Georgia and Zoe were very, very helpful and accommodating. The food was good, we thoroughly enjoyed it (it's not the Ritz but we weren't paying Ritz prices) We had no complaints whatsoever with any meals we had. There isn't much choice with the cocktails but we enjoyed what we had. We would definitely come back we had such a good time here,
