Atlantica Eleon Grand Resort

Stayed for a week. Staff are so friendly and very helpful! Food in the buffet restaurant is absolutely brilliant, great choice and quality. Rooms are basic but cleaned daily and had everything we needed. Hired a car to get to some beautiful quiet beaches on the island and enjoyed learning about the turtles. If coming with young children, would recommend taking snacks as dinner isn't served until 7pm and mine fell asleep at the table on a couple of occasions! Also wetsuits for little ones needed at this time of year as pools are not heated.

Very good place to stay. Hotel is nice and clean, rooms are simple but have all what you need- after-all you are not going to Greece to stay all day in the room. Food very good- great selection, lots to choose from. Staff very friendly- they are there to help- doctor appointment no problem, cleaning room- done as quick as possible. Location is good, you are surrounded by olives trees, views are amazing, not too busy. Water slides great fun for kids. I would come back. Family friendly holidays.

We had such a wonderful time here. We arrived late, and the staff had set some food aside for us in the restaurant which was a lovely touch. The buffet was well stocked with a good variety of food each evening. It never felt too hectic in there, same for the whole hotel and pools. I have a fussy 6 year old, and she always found food she enjoyed. Especially the hot dogs at the snack bar. We ate at the Italian restaurant on site one evening, and it was delicious. If you're going to eat there, don't have a big lunch! There was so much food. The staff are great, especially the restaurant staff and cleaners. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is friendly and laid back. Lots of entertainment going on for adults and kids. Plenty of sunbeds and shade with all the trees. Beds by the pool are taken quickly. But there is not much shade there so we weren't that fussed. The slides are a lot of fun, with the pool being shallow that you land in. There are lifeguards by the pool and slides who are great at keeping an eye on things. Having the sea right there next to the pools was divine. Shallow, warm and clear. It is pebbly, so would go in next to the slides, less rocky. The room was a good size for the 3 of us. They provided towels and beach towels. The aircon wasn't the most effective, but took the edge off. Ours broke one evening and was fixed within 10 minutes. There are plenty of water stations around the hotel, which is a nice touch. Cocktails aren't amazing, but enjoyed the g&t and sparkling wine, with my daughter loving the kids cocktails! Our flight wasn't until the evening, with check out being at 11, and the hotel was happy for us to continue the all inclusive which was a relief. Would recommend this hotel, and would definitely return.

The room was great when we arrived, nothing was untidy or not clean, we payed extra for a guaranteed sea view which we felt was worth it, the amazing sunrise was visible from our balcony . The food was also great there is a buffet restaurant in the main building which is amazing there is also a Italian/Greek restaurant which doubles up as a snack bar in the day. There is a bar across from the outside part of the restaurant which has a large variety of drinks (unbranded go free if you pay for all inclusive). All the staff are very kind and friendly that includes the people at the bar and restaurant, the reception, the lifeguards and all the people walking around asking you for drinks or to be refreshed with a spray. The entire experience was all in all great the facilities e.g. the Spa, restaurant(s), pitches, pools, water slides and building were The only thing we found not so great was it is slightly in the middle of nowhere and there is about a 5-7 minute walk (uphill) to nearest the town but once your there there are shops, restaurants and more.

Where do I start? We had a lovely time fantastic staff everyone was kind and helpful I loved the beautiful Eleanor Thank you so much for trying to sort me out a cocktail that tasted like a pint colada Unfortunately the real Pina colada even though all-inclusive you had to pay for which I found ridiculous but I treated myself because I didn't like any of the other drinks ..The cost was 7 euros but it was delicious! Food was pretty nice lots to choose from but unfortunately the flies on the salad and mould on the cheese put me off The beach if you like a beach please pack beach shoes or you won't enjoy trying to navigate your way through rocks ! The entertainment one lady in particular all I can say is wow she had the most incredible voice and her talent is waisted in the resort and I wish her so much luck for the future and the sax player amazing x The entertainment staff were fab x The room was near the entertainment area and my god don't fill the sink up although there is an overflow hole it's drains out through the underneath of sink and floods the place which is why the wooden shelf underneath is bowed The door to the bathroom locked one night and we couldn't get in to use the toilet so at 3am searched and luckily found a toilet open in the entertainment block I don't know who put the bathroom together but he needs reporting Slides are fun pool is nice ..Zante is worth a trip out we took the bus which is outside the resort at the top of the hill where I gather the Cockerell lives and it kindly wakes you up at 5.30am everyday Now the bus ride wow luckily our hotel is first pick up so we got a seat bit by the time you get to zante it's unsafetly packed solid everyone standing Thanks for a great stay would we go back no but we had a fab rest and sunshine was lovely x

Booked relatively late and just wanted a lazy break in the October sun. The hotel and Zakynthos in general didn’t disappoint. Accommodation, facilities and food were all excellent. We were all inclusive and food was plentiful, varied and of good quality. Staff couldn’t be faulted - reception, housekeeping, bar and restaurant employees were always attentive, especially at mealtimes. Lifeguard by the pool from 10-6. Plenty of sun-beds around the pool, on the beach, or amongst the olive trees. We did go in school time to avoid peak numbers - glad we did as it got busy on the day we left. That’s fine if you have kids - we did that many years ago and so these days want a quieter type of holiday. A couple of small watch outs: Take some insect repellent. It’s not too bad but did get irritating at times. Beach is lovely, private and quiet, but is stoney so take beach shoes. Don’t rely on the bus to Zakynthos Town. Yes, it’s only 2€ per person each way, but we waited an hour and it just didn’t show up, so took taxi 20€ each way. In the grand scheme, these points are really picky though. Overall 8 out of 10 and 4* is spot on but the acid test for me is if I would go back: 100% yes.
