Ilaria Hotel

The hotel is about 10-15 mins walk from Laganas town- which can only be a good thing! The grounds are spacious and the pool is the best we’ve been in on holiday. The rooms are very clean and large. There is aircon which is not noisy and a kettle and tv in the rooms. The balconies have views. The main building is very clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We had breakfast in the hotel every day which was fine. There was a large choice, and was the same each day. We had a buffet dinner once, which was also good, but we wouldn’t have eaten there again as prefer to have some variation, so I don’t know whether it changes from day to day. The bar indoors is somewhat overpriced, but the pool bar was very reasonable and also provides smaller meals during the day. I can’t really understand why anyone would complain that you have to walk a short distance to the town. The hotels we looked at in Laganas could not match Ilaria for space, quiet or cleanliness and the pool were very poor in comparison. Cross the road from the hotel and walk for 7 mins through a nature reserve to a protected beach (no sun loungers) and marine area (no jet skis, boats etc) which is several km long. We swam in the sea every day and saw turtles more than once.

Great breakfast buffet - lots of options and even went out of their way to get me decaff coffee. Very clean hotel and pool (separate kiddie pool as well). Good choice of good selection at pool bar. Quiet and peaceful and close to both local villages. Kalamaki 25 min walk, Laganas 15 min walk. Laganas is livelier, Kalamaki is more for families. Beach over the road - follow path through woodland area.

Bhe che dire sono rimasto davvero soddisfatto dalla struttura. Accogliente, non caotica e rilassante . Personale gentilissimo. Ho optato per la mezza pensione ( colazione e cena ) e siamo rimasti contenti, infatti la colazione bella abbondante sia dolce che salato, e la cena buona e abbondante con un menù abbastanza vario. Le camere grandi e spaziose. Il servizio di pulizia impeccabile infatti rifacendo il letto con asciugami puliti ogni giorno. La piscina bella grande e mantenuta pulita. Ci ritornerò sicuramente.

Absolut zufrieden. Sind auf meine Zöliakie sehr gut eingegangen hat alles geklappt. Großes sauberes Pool, Sandstrand in der Nähe. Supermarkts und Restaurant in 5 min zu Fuß. Flughafen ist nah und laut, das muss man mögen, aber für uns wars okay.
