White Olive Elite Laganas

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in, starting with the food if you want to go to an all inclusive to loose weight this would be perfect! There’s nothing there if you have children they don’t even serve chips every day some of the food looked like Oliver twists gruel, but only you didn’t want more because, it was rancid, the staff all but the bar man on the smaller pool was fantastic he however would of won first prize if there was a competition to never smile he was one miserable man, clearly hates his job no interaction with guest I fell down the steps at the side of the pool I was completely dry however stairs was wet told him they was a death trap and that I’d fell and he shrugged his shoulders, other than the company we had to share nothing good to say about the place!

Stayed here for a week and it was so lovely. Amazing room (paid extra for the swim up upgrade when we arrived). Staff were so friendly, attentive and could not do any more to help. Food was fresh and spot on for the star rating. Spotlessly clean. Highly recommend.

We booked this hotel with High hopes. And I can say apart from the location it was very underwhelming. Firstly the location was absolutely perfect just off the main drag, far enough away that you are not in the middle of the *****, but close enough to walk to everything, the beach is a 2 minute walk and all the bars, clubs and restaraunts are within a 10 minute walk. We only ate one meal in the hotel (lunch time) to see how it was, and we was very disappointed with the random choice and not very tasteful food, it seems like they just closed their eyes and opened the fridge and whatever they grabbed was for dinner, no coordination in the food just bits of differant random cuisines thrown together. We ate out every meal due to this and felt like we had wasted money on all inclusive. There is 1 bar that is open late but didn't really have much going on, we saw entertainment there one night out of the 7 and was lucky to even hear back ground music as we walked past, and again felt the need to go out to the local bars and clubs every night. The day time entertainment was also much to be desired with the odd game of water hand ball going on in 1 of the 4 pools. The pools are all smaller then expected and not very deep and could easily get very crowded. They also closed the pools and the pool bar at 7pm which seemed reall5 early. We are lucky we had funds to go out for every meal/evening and was planning on trips every day and so on, but if you was to book an all inclusive and expect to stay in the hotel and be wowed by cuisine and entertainment, this may not be the hotel for you.

The hotel surprised us from the beginning. We got an upgrade without asking. Instead of comfort room, we was leaded into a room with private swim up pool and that was great fun for us . Friendly staff, wonderful food and cocktails and cute kittens around. Excellent facilities and easy to access. Was a 5 stars holiday by all means. Thank you, guys for all your kindness and hospitality!

Stayed here for a week in June with a friend. Lovely modern hotel, very clean. Has 3 pools. Rooms were nice and spacious with a fridge. The housekeepers cleaned the rooms daily. Hotel staff were friendly. Food was typical of an all inclusive - quite repetitive but enough choice that you could always find something to eat. The hotel location is great as it’s away from the ***** so it is quiet, but a short enough walk to the beach/bars/restaurants! The only thing I found disappointing was that the only place you could get an alcoholic drink (other than wine or beer, which you could get from the restaurant), was at the pool bar, and this was only open 10:00-19:00. Would have been nice to be able to sit outside and have a few drinks in the night. Would still recommend this hotel to others though!

Have just returned from a 10 night stay at this hotel. The hotel was great nicely decorated and clean, my room was ground floor with a veranda outside for table and chairs and was always cleaned daily by a lovely lady. I found the food in the restaurant to be tasty and varied and could always find something to eat and also try new dishes. The staff were all efficient, friendly and helpful nothing appeared to be too much trouble. 3 pools so always plenty of sunbeds and areas to sit. Near the ***** for a lively night but not near enough for noise, really close to the beach, local shops, restaurants and a local bus stop for travelling further afield. As I am a solo female traveller I also appreciated the safety and security of the room I was in which had 2 sets of lockable doors to the veranda. Safety deposit box free in the room and a kettle and fridge. All in all I would like to thank everyone at the hotel for a great stay, hopefully I will be able to return. PS there is a small kitten which lives behind the hotel near some bins,I fed it for 10 days and would appreciate anybody else to do the same I named her Luna, l attach a photo Thanks in advance x

Just returned from a week at this hotel when we arrived the hotel looked fab we booked a pool view our room was really good very comfortable bed with all the things you need cleaning was done daily the only downside we had was our balcony was the smallest on the site we struggled to sit out there there by pool area is very good clean and water is pristine food in the hotel is very poor cold and repetitive there is no entertainment in the evenings and not much room to sit I would hate to go here at peak season as only one side of the pool gets sun all day long the drinks are very watered down overall I would rate the hotel at best a 3plus star ⭐️ the staff are great tho especially in the restaurant

We arrived home yesterday after spending 11 nights at this hotel. I will start with the positive points first. The hotel was contemporary and sleek. Our room was really comfortable and spacious. Most of the staff were polite and helpful. All areas including pools very clean and well kept. Weather beautiful. Negative points. Food was really unacceptable for a 5 star hotel, I have honestly had far better food in some 3 star hotels. Lack of variety, lukewarm food and on the last 2 evenings because the hotel was quiter they reduce the amount of food served. The wine served at the hotel again was cheap plonk. Absolutely ridiculous for a country that produces some nice wines and again totally unacceptable for a hotel that is calling themselves a 5 star hotel to be serving such substandard products. We found the reception staff on a few occasions to be quite dismissive. The surrounding areas very scruffy looking and unattractive. Certainly not the nicest resort in Greece that I have stayed in.

Beautiful hotel, Nice staff and goood food!☀️The room was always clean. Close to everything. Nice swimmingpool. The staff was very helpfull and was always smiling. Loved it here! Really recomend this hotel if you are going to Zakhyntos!!
