Parador de Zafra

有歷史價值的古堡，值得。

We got there at 2 AM. My wife always takes a shower before going to bed. She tried, but she couldn't, there was no Hot Water. On the morning, around 9:30, I went to the bathroom. Opened the hot water tap, and waited, and waited. Went to the phone, called reception. Told there was no Hot water. The answer I got was, the water flows till it gets Hot. I told I already did that for the last 15 Minutes. Did it again... Nothing was different. So called reception again, they said they were going to call maintenance. So I gave up, and took a Cold water shower. I've wasted hundreds of liters of water, during this time, which is funny, regarding the notice that was planted on the lavatory tap that said " The water you've wasted today, is the water you'll need tomorrow". Next we went to have our breakfast. You have to keep in mind, we're staying at a 4 Star Parador. There are high expectations... That's all you'll have expectations. The breakfast is so lousy. You have so little choices. I think this is the worst breakfast I've ever had in an hotel. Poor bread choices, the cakes looked so industrial, the orange juice, my wife doesn't know if it had orange cause it was artificial. So this was our first and last time in Zafra Parador. In the end they offered us the breakfast, due to our complaint about the Cold Water.

Fantastic service at reception and throughout this lovely Parador. Some very interesting rooms fitted into the castle turret and a beautiful building with the possibility of walking the battlements. Beds were as comfortable as any I’ve had anywhere.

Marvellous building with central area in marble in a charming town. We have been many times and it always impresses.

This hotel has a nice atmosphere with a blend of old furnitures and modern functions. The restaurant offers seating in a beautiful patio or in a cosy dining room.

It was a fantastic night!!!! We spent a day with our family! The service was good! The breakfast good be better with more variety
