We stayed for 3 nights and the family were very hospitable. However, upon leaving the property, they accused us of creating a 2 inches of tear in a swing chair after 4 members of the family scoured the place as we were leaving. They turned over the cushion and said we caused a tear in the cushion. Then said not to worry and can we complete a house insurance claim. We said no! And they got rude and we said if you want to claim then go via airbnb! They didn’t want to and we left. Next thing is we got a claim via airbnb for £250!! For an apparent 2 inches of tear which was only an inch or wear and tear. The swing chair and cushion did not even cost that much. They left us a bad review as we did not comply and said we chucked a bucket at them too!!
